Navigator Models Available
The 2026 Navigator lineup consists of Premiere, Reserve and Black Label. Each is available in a standard-wheelbase body or the longer Navigator L. Black Label adds its own interior themes, seating equipment, audio system and ownership benefits. The available Black Label Special Edition Package changes the exterior appearance and wheel treatment; it is an option rather than a separate engine configuration.
Engine Specifications

A 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 produces 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission and four-wheel drive are standard. Lincoln’s advertised peak output is based on premium gasoline. The powertrain is not a plug-in hybrid, and specifications from an older Navigator should not be substituted for the 2026 model.
Adaptive suspension is standard, using electronically controlled dampers with coil-spring suspension. It should not be described as an air-suspension system. Black Label normally has 22-inch bright-machined aluminum wheels with high-gloss Ebony details. Alternative 22-inch finishes and 24-inch wheels are available, including designs associated with the Special Edition package.
Towing and Trailering
The Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package is standard on the 2026 Black Label equipment list. It includes an integrated trailer brake controller, a two-speed transfer case and trailering assistance such as trailer guidance and Pro Trailer Backup Assist. The general Navigator specification table calls the package optional because equipment differs across grades; that does not make it optional on Black Label.
Lincoln lists a maximum towing capacity of 8,700 lb, or 3,946 kg, when properly equipped. That is an upper limit for the appropriate configuration, not an automatic rating for every wheel and body combination. Consult the current towing guide for the selected wheelbase, wheels and hitch equipment. Passenger weight, luggage, accessories and trailer tongue weight must also fit within the delivered vehicle’s payload and axle limits.
Fuel Economy and Tank Capacity
Natural Resources Canada’s 2026 guide rates Navigator 4WD at 15.7 L/100 km city, 10.9 highway and 13.6 combined. The guide identifies regular gasoline for that fuel-consumption entry. Lincoln’s premium-fuel horsepower claim and NRCan’s regular-fuel consumption entry are separate test statements; the consumption figure should not be used to promise the advertised peak power on regular gasoline.
Lincoln lists an 87.0-litre fuel tank for the standard-wheelbase Navigator and 102.2 litres for Navigator L. Published fuel-consumption estimates are not towing figures or measurements from this review. Temperature, load and trip length affect real consumption.
Seating and Interior

Black Label’s standard arrangement seats seven, with two front seats, two second-row captain’s chairs and a three-person third row. The second row uses a 40/console/40 layout with PowerFold and Power Tailored functions. Although a general Navigator capacity table may reference seven or eight occupants across the range, that does not establish an eight-seat bench in a particular Black Label build.
Leather upholstery covers all three rows, with genuine wood accents and a choice of Atmospheric, Enlighten or Invitation interior themes. Heated and ventilated front seats have Active Motion massage. Adjustment is 30-way for the driver and 28-way for the front passenger; describing both as 30-way would be inaccurate. The second-row chairs are heated and ventilated, and the third-row seats are heated.
The third row has a 40/20/40 power-folding split and power recline. A heated steering wheel, three-zone climate control, panoramic Vista Roof, power-adjustable pedals and memory settings are included. Lincoln Rejuvenate, Digital Scent and Auto Air Refresh add cabin functions. USB charging is provided in each row, and a 400-watt inverter supplies additional power.

Cargo Space and Navigator L

For the standard-wheelbase body, Lincoln lists 612 litres behind the third row, 1,722 litres behind the second row and 3,029 litres behind the first row. Navigator L increases those figures to 1,022, 2,134 and 3,444 litres respectively. Lincoln separately lists greater volumes when the third-row seatbacks are fully upright or the second row is moved fully forward; those alternate positions should be identified when quoting them.
The practical difference is luggage capacity with passengers aboard: the longer body adds cargo room without requiring the third row to be folded. Navigator L is approximately 27 centimetres longer overall. The Split Gate has an upper section that rises and a lower section that folds down. Open Approach and power-deployable running boards are included, while loading space still depends on seat position and the actual cargo shape.
Infotainment and Sound System

Lincoln Digital Experience uses a 48-inch panoramic display across the dashboard and an 11.1-inch central touchscreen. A 5.8-inch screen in the second-row console provides passenger controls. Google Maps and other connected functions are part of the system, and the listed Lincoln Connectivity Package includes four years. Wireless phone charging is standard.
The Black Label audio specification is the 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D system. Lincoln Play rear-seat entertainment is optional, so rear screens should not automatically appear in the standard equipment list. Phone As A Key and a four-year Lincoln Security Package are included. Check which services continue after their included period and what renewal charges apply.
Safety Features and Driver Assistance
Standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0 includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane centring and predictive speed assistance. The lane-keeping system adds lane-keeping alerts, assistance, driver alerts and road-edge detection. Blind-spot monitoring includes cross-traffic alerts and trailer coverage. Reverse Brake Assist, Intersection Assist, front and rear parking sensors and a 360-degree camera are also included.
Pre-Collision Assist combines automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning and dynamic brake support. Standard protection includes front and front-seat side airbags, Safety Canopy curtain airbags with rollover sensing, child-seat anchors and tire-pressure monitoring. These equipment descriptions are not a substitute for an independently verified crash-test result.
BlueCruise is included for four years. Its hands-free capability requires compatible roads and continued driver attention. Included access and future subscription costs should be checked when comparing it with other systems. Cameras and driver-assistance functions support the driver rather than removing responsibility for operation.
Pricing in Canadian Dollars
The Ontario 2026 configurator listed starting prices of C$122,190 for Premiere, C$131,690 for Reserve and C$151,690 for Black Label. The extended Black Label L started at C$155,690. These are reference starting figures, rather than a quotation for the exact vehicle in the video.
Lincoln’s price explanation includes destination and delivery and applicable air-conditioning and green levies. Options, retailer fees, luxury surcharge, GST or provincial sales taxes, licensing and insurance are excluded. Wheel packages, paint and rear entertainment can raise the total. Compare itemized quotes with the same body length and tax treatment: a competitor’s displayed price that already includes estimated luxury tax is not directly equivalent to this starting-price figure.
Competition
The Cadillac Escalade Sport and Platinum Sport, Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X7 and Jeep Grand Wagoneer are relevant alternatives. Escalade offers a V8 and a larger curved display, while Navigator Black Label’s standard equipment includes massaging front seats, ventilated second-row chairs and its 28-speaker audio system. For cargo comparisons, match Navigator L with an extended-body alternative such as Escalade ESV.
Black Label’s strongest specification differences are its curated interior themes and extensive passenger equipment. Choose the body length based on cargo needs with all seats occupied, then confirm towing limits and price the wheel and entertainment options separately. That produces a more useful shortlist than comparing a basic competitor with a fully equipped Black Label.

Frequently asked questions
Does Navigator Black Label have air suspension?
No. It uses adaptive electronically controlled dampers with coil springs. The word “adaptive” does not mean it has an air-spring suspension system.
Is the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package standard on Black Label?
Yes. The 2026 Black Label equipment list includes it. Lincoln’s advertised maximum of 8,700 lb still depends on the qualifying wheelbase, wheel and hitch configuration.
Are both Navigator Black Label front seats 30-way adjustable?
No. Lincoln lists 30-way adjustment for the driver and 28-way adjustment for the front passenger. Both include heating, ventilation and Active Motion massage.
