Where Warlock Fits in the Lineup
Warlock is a Tradesman-based package listed as its own model in the Canadian configurator. The wider 2026 Ram 1500 range includes Tradesman, Express, Black Express, Big Horn, Sport, Rebel, Backcountry, Laramie, Limited, Longhorn, Tungsten and RHO. Black Express emphasizes exterior appearance and bucket seats; Warlock adds equipment for uneven terrain while retaining a simpler bench-seat interior.
The Canadian Warlock specification examined is a Crew Cab 4×4 with a 5-foot-7-inch cargo box. It should not be confused with the discontinued Ram 1500 Classic Warlock or with a Rebel specification. Those trucks can have different engines, cabins, suspension and equipment lists despite sharing familiar names.
Engines and Transmission

The standard 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 with eTorque produces 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive. eTorque is a mild-hybrid system using a 48-volt electrical architecture; it does not require plug-in charging or provide a claimed electric-only range.
The available 3.0-litre standard-output Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six produces 420 horsepower and 469 lb-ft. In the Canadian builder, Customer Preferred Package 21B replaces the V6 package and adds C$3,795. Both choices use an eight-speed automatic. The selected builder did not offer the 540-horsepower high-output Hurricane or a HEMI package for Warlock, so neither should be credited to this configuration merely because it appears elsewhere in the Ram lineup.
Warlock Hardware
Warlock includes 18-inch black aluminum wheels, all-terrain tires, Bilstein front and rear shocks, raised ride height, tow hooks and an electronic locking rear axle. The package details list skid plates for the fuel tank, steering gear and transfer case, plus Selec-Speed Control. These are specific hardware additions rather than a guarantee that it has the same equipment as Rebel or RHO.
The selected build lists LT275/70R18E all-terrain tires; a different LT275/65R18C on/off-road tire appears as a no-charge alternative. Check the order if a particular tire size matters. Black grille details, Warlock decals and LED fog lamps are included. Warlock uses a standard steel hood, rather than automatically inheriting the Black Express sport hood.
Towing and Payload

Ram’s Canadian base-model comparison lists the V6 Warlock at 2,889 kg of towing capacity, approximately 6,370 lb, and 812 kg of payload, approximately 1,790 lb. The selected V6 builder lists a 6,900-lb gross vehicle weight rating and a standard 3.21 rear axle ratio, with a 3.55 ratio available. These figures describe the base specification; a Hurricane build, added accessories or different equipment can change the limits.
Trailer Tow Group II and Trailer Tow Group are available upgrades. An integrated brake controller and any trailer-specific equipment should be confirmed on the delivered truck, rather than assumed from the Warlock name. The maximum capacity advertised for the entire Ram 1500 range does not automatically apply here. Trailer tongue weight, people and cargo must remain within payload and axle ratings as well as the trailer limit.
Fuel Economy
For the base V6 configuration, Ram’s Canadian comparison table lists 12.1 L/100 km city, 9.7 highway and 11.0 combined, with regular gasoline. These are manufacturer figures, not a measured result from this review. The consulted 2026 NRCan guide did not include a matching 3.6-litre Ram 1500 entry, so no older-year V6 rating has been presented as a confirmed 2026 NRCan result.
NRCan lists the standard-output 3.0-litre Hurricane Ram 1500 4×4 at 13.2 L/100 km city, 9.9 highway and 11.7 combined on regular gasoline. That entry is a general powertrain reference, rather than a separate Warlock-specific test of its all-terrain tire configuration. Loads, towing and winter conditions can raise consumption. A larger 124.9-litre fuel tank appears as a C$595 option in the Warlock builder.
Interior, Seats and Storage

The selected Warlock has a black cloth 40/20/40 front bench and a three-person rear bench, giving it six seats. This differs from the five-seat bucket-and-console Black Express package. The front centre position also provides cushion storage. Manual four-way front-seat adjustment and manual air conditioning keep the specification straightforward; leather, massage and ventilated seats are not standard Warlock equipment.
The rear seat has a 60/40 folding arrangement and a centre armrest. Crew Cab adds second-row in-floor storage bins, while front seatback pockets and included Mopar all-weather mats provide further utility. A rear power-sliding window, seven-inch customizable instrument display, 115-volt auxiliary outlet and 400-watt inverter are listed in the package. Cargo-box accessories such as a tonneau cover or the Bed Utility Group remain separate ordering choices.

Infotainment

Uconnect 5 with an 8.4-inch touchscreen is standard in the selected build. Bluetooth, phone integration and USB connectivity support media and communication. The Canadian comparison lists six speakers. Package details include SiriusXM with a six-month trial; continued service requires checking the subscription terms.
The seven-inch gauge display is separate from the infotainment screen. The larger screens and premium Harman Kardon or Klipsch systems promoted for more expensive Ram grades should not be treated as standard Warlock equipment. Ram’s connected features also depend on the particular hardware and service plan.
Safety Features
The Canadian model comparison lists adaptive distance control with traffic stop-and-go, Active Lane Management, Forward Collision Warning-Plus with mitigation and blind-spot warning. Tradesman-based equipment includes rear cross-path and trailer detection. Front and rear ParkSense sensors, LED headlights, tire-pressure monitoring and stability control add further assistance.
Front airbags, front-seat side airbags and curtain airbags covering both rows are included, along with rear child safety locks. Equipment descriptions do not establish a verified crash-test result. Do not assume a surround-camera system or hands-free highway assistance is included merely because those features are available somewhere in the wider Ram range.
Pricing in Canadian Dollars
The Ontario Warlock V6 build showed a base price of C$69,185 with no added options. A C$6,500 consumer-cash discount produced an estimated C$62,685 with sales tax unchecked. The C$3,795 Hurricane package, paid paint, larger fuel tank and trailering groups increase the amount. A colour-selected comparison tile can also show a higher price than the no-charge white starting build.
Consumer-cash discounts are time-sensitive and can differ from finance or lease arrangements. This reference is not a price for the exact truck in the video or a binding drive-away total.
Competition
Ford F-150 STX with suitable terrain equipment, Chevrolet Silverado Custom Trail Boss and GMC Sierra Elevation with an eligible off-road package are relevant comparisons. Within Ram’s range, Rebel adds a different equipment specification and higher price, while Black Express prioritizes appearance and a console-equipped five-seat cabin. Compare actual tire, skid-plate, axle and trailering content rather than relying only on the trim name.
Warlock’s main specification appeal is its combination of protective hardware, a locking rear axle and six-seat Crew Cab layout without a luxury-grade interior. Engine choice, payload and the trailer equipment required should guide the final build. Verify those items before treating the package’s appearance as evidence of capability.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Ram 1500 Warlock’s eTorque engine a plug-in hybrid?
No. The standard 3.6-litre V6 uses a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. It does not require external charging and does not provide a claimed electric-only range.
Which Hurricane engine is available in the Ram 1500 Warlock?
The available 3.0-litre standard-output Hurricane produces 420 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque. The selected Canadian builder did not offer the high-output Hurricane for this Warlock configuration.
Does every Ram 1500 Warlock have the same towing capacity?
No. Engine, axle ratio and installed equipment affect the rating. The base V6 reference is approximately 6,370 lb; a different build needs its own applicable towing information and payload-label check.
