The 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT combines a five-seat electric SUV body with dual-motor all-wheel drive and an extended-range battery. Its Canadian equipment differs from some broad lineup descriptions: the builder lists the GT Performance Upgrade, MagneRide and front storage compartment as options. This guide covers specifications and CAD pricing.

Models and Configuration
The Canadian Mach-E lineup includes Select, Premium, GT and Rally. GT uses the 400A equipment group, an extended-range battery and upgraded electric all-wheel drive. It is a separate five-door electric vehicle from the gasoline Mustang coupe and convertible.
Motors, Battery and Output

The GT has two electric motors and a 91-kWh usable-capacity battery. Ford lists up to 480 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque for the GT powertrain. The available GT Performance Upgrade raises the advertised torque to 700 lb-ft; the Canadian builder lists this option at C$1,795. Do not assume that upgrade is installed on every GT.
A vapor-injection heat pump is standard. The builder lists MagneRide damping as optional, so a car’s suspension specification must be checked on its actual equipment list. The electric powertrain uses a single-speed reduction arrangement rather than a conventional multi-speed gasoline transmission.
Range and Energy Consumption
Ford’s Canadian GT page lists 451 km of estimated range. NRCan’s 2026 guide lists the Mach-E GT at 22.0 kWh/100 km city, 24.7 highway and 23.2 combined, with the same 451-km range reference. Temperature, cabin heating, speed, tire choice and battery state affect usable range.
Charging Equipment
Home charging requires a suitable electrical connection and compatible charging equipment. The Canadian builder lists the portable 120/240-volt Mobile Power Cord at C$625 and the NACS fast-charging adapter at C$295. These should not be assumed to be supplied with a default GT build.
NRCan’s guide lists a 9.9-hour charging-time reference for its GT entry. Actual charging time depends on available power, state of charge and conditions, and is not a fixed time for every home or public charger. Confirm the vehicle’s connector and adapter arrangement before planning charging stops.
Interior, Seating and Cargo

GT seats five and includes heated Ford Performance front seats. The standard finish uses Performance Grey ActiveX with Miko inserts and City Silver stitching. ActiveX is a synthetic material, rather than conventional leather. The driver seat has ten-way power adjustment and the passenger seat has eight-way power adjustment.
A heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, driver memory and wireless charging are included. The rear cargo area has an adjustable load floor and storage below it. The Canadian builder lists the drainable front storage compartment, or frunk, as a C$645 option; a front compartment should not be counted as included cargo space on every 2026 GT.
The panoramic roof is an optional package. Compare the actual roof, seating trim and cargo accessories on the vehicle being considered, since appearance packages can change details without changing the GT badge.

Infotainment and Connected Services

SYNC 4A uses a 15.5-inch centre display, accompanied by a 10.2-inch instrument display. Compatible wireless smartphone integration, Phone As A Key and a wireless charging pad support everyday connectivity. The standard B&O system has ten speakers, including a subwoofer.
The Canadian builder includes the Technology Package, a one-year Ford Connectivity Package and BlueCruise equipment with a one-year plus 90-day plan. Longer-term service purchase options are available. Included service terms should be distinguished from permanent, subscription-free access.

Safety Features
The GT’s standard equipment includes a 360-degree camera with split views, stability control, individual tire-pressure monitoring and child-seat anchors on the rear outboard positions. Its BlueCruise equipment supports hands-free assistance on eligible roads with active service and an attentive driver.
Ford’s driver-assistance systems have road, visibility and sensor limitations. When inspecting the actual vehicle, review its collision-warning and braking settings, lane assistance and cruise-control functions as well as the camera views; connected-service activation and included service terms can differ from the hardware itself.
Exterior and Towing
The default Canadian GT configuration has 20-inch high-gloss black wheels and 245/45R20 all-season tires. Summer tires and alternative wheels are optional. A summer-tire build needs an appropriate seasonal tire plan for cold weather.
The Canadian GT specification does not advertise a trailer-towing capacity. Do not apply a rating from another market or assume that an accessory hitch establishes trailer approval. Consult the applicable vehicle manual before considering trailer use.
Pricing in CAD
The Canadian builder showed C$64,995 base MSRP plus C$3,095 in displayed fees, for C$68,090 before incentives. A C$5,000 delivery allowance reduced the displayed net price to C$63,090 before sales tax and registration.
That allowance is time-sensitive and is separate from the base vehicle price. The Performance Upgrade was C$1,795, the frunk C$645 and the portable charging cord C$625. Optional equipment, incentive eligibility, dealer charges and province affect the final quote. These figures are not a confirmed as-tested total for the video vehicle.
Competition
Compare the GT with the Tesla Model Y Performance, Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Kia EV6 GT. Evaluate the Canadian range rating, energy use, charging access, included equipment and the complete price. Buyers who prioritize range or a lower purchase price over GT-specific hardware should also compare an extended-range Mach-E Premium.
Choosing a Mach-E GT
The GT offers dual-motor electric power, a large battery and a well-equipped five-seat cabin. The important decisions include charging arrangements, the Performance Upgrade, suspension equipment and whether the optional roof or frunk is needed. An itemized build is especially useful because several features often associated with the GT are optional in the Canadian 2026 builder.

Frequently asked questions
Does every 2026 Mach-E GT have 700 lb-ft of torque?
No. The GT is listed with up to 480 horsepower and 600 lb-ft. The available GT Performance Upgrade increases advertised torque to 700 lb-ft and must be confirmed on the individual vehicle.
What is the Canadian Mach-E GT range rating?
The 2026 reference is 451 km, with combined energy consumption of 23.2 kWh/100 km. Temperature, heating, speed, tires and battery conditions affect actual range.
Is the Mach-E GT front storage compartment standard?
The checked Canadian 2026 builder lists the drainable front storage compartment as an option. It should not be included in every GT’s cargo specification without checking the build.
