Models and Body Styles

The 2026 Escalade lineup includes Escalade, Luxury, Sport, Platinum Luxury, Platinum Sport and V-Series. Sport is an appearance and equipment grade; it does not use the supercharged engine fitted to Escalade-V. The longer Escalade ESV provides additional space behind the third row. Navigator is offered in Premiere, Reserve and Black Label grades, with standard-wheelbase and extended Navigator L versions. Comparing the same body length matters when weighing passenger space, luggage room and price.

Engine Specifications

Escalade Sport has a naturally aspirated 6.2-litre V8 rated at 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. Navigator Black Label uses a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 producing 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft, also paired with a 10-speed automatic and four-wheel drive. Lincoln’s advertised output is based on premium fuel. Neither of these configurations is a plug-in hybrid.

Magnetic Ride Control is standard on Escalade Sport, while Air Ride Adaptive Suspension is an available upgrade. Navigator Black Label includes adaptive suspension. These systems should not be described as identical: the Cadillac’s available air suspension is separate from its standard electronically controlled dampers.

Seating and Interior Equipment

Both configurations normally seat seven in a 2-2-3 arrangement. Escalade Sport has second-row bucket seats; an available second-row bench can increase Escalade seating to eight. Navigator Black Label’s standard second-row captain’s chairs and console provide seven seats. The Navigator range’s general seven-or-eight-passenger specification should not be used as proof that a particular Black Label build has an eight-seat bench.

Escalade Sport includes leather seating, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, three-zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof. Its front seats have 12-way adjustment. Features advertised for higher Platinum grades, including their more elaborate seating packages, should not automatically be credited to Sport.

Navigator Black Label includes heated and ventilated front and second-row captain’s chairs, heated third-row seats, leather upholstery, wood trim and a panoramic Vista Roof. Perfect Position front seats include Active Motion massage, with 30-way driver adjustment and 28-way passenger adjustment. Black Label interior themes include Atmospheric, Enlighten and Invitation. Lincoln Rejuvenate, Digital Scent and Auto Air Refresh add further cabin functions.

Both SUVs have power-folding third-row seating and power running boards. Navigator’s Split Gate combines an upper liftgate with a lower tailgate. For frequent travel with all three rows occupied, compare Escalade ESV and Navigator L as well as the shorter versions; maximum cargo figures with seats folded do not describe luggage room behind an occupied third row.

Infotainment and Audio

Escalade Sport’s standard 55-inch curved front display combines driver information and infotainment across the dashboard. Google built-in, a head-up display, wireless phone charging and a Rear Camera Mirror are included. Its standard AKG system has 21 speakers; a 38-speaker system and rear entertainment with two 12.6-inch screens are available upgrades. The 42-speaker Executive Second Row arrangement belongs to specific higher-grade configurations, rather than the standard Sport specification.

Navigator Black Label has a 48-inch panoramic display and an 11.1-inch central touchscreen. Its second-row console includes a 5.8-inch control screen. A 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D audio system and wireless phone charging are standard. Lincoln Digital Experience includes Google services, with a four-year connectivity package listed for this model. Confirm the services and subscription terms included with the particular vehicle.

Safety and Driver Assistance

Escalade Sport includes enhanced automatic emergency braking, intersection braking, pedestrian and bicyclist detection, reverse automatic braking, rear cross-traffic braking, blind-zone steering assistance, adaptive cruise control, HD Surround Vision and enhanced automatic parking assistance. Its Safety Alert Seat provides vibration warnings. Night Vision is optional and should not be listed as standard Sport equipment.

Navigator Black Label’s standard Co-Pilot360 Drive 2 package includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane centring, predictive speed assistance, lane-keeping support, blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage, cross-traffic alerts, intersection assistance, reverse braking and a 360-degree camera. These features supplement attentive operation; equipment lists do not establish a crash-test rating.

Super Cruise is standard on the Escalade Sport with a three-year trial. Navigator Black Label includes BlueCruise for four years. Both hands-free systems require compatible roads, an attentive driver and the applicable connected service. Renewal costs and coverage are separate ownership considerations.

Towing and Trailering Equipment

The selected Canadian Escalade Sport 4WD build summary lists a maximum trailer rating of 7,900 lb. Its equipment includes a two-speed transfer case, trailering hardware, an integrated trailer brake controller and hitch-view functions. Do not substitute a different drivetrain or body style’s advertised maximum for this configuration.

Navigator Black Label includes the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package, with an integrated brake controller, two-speed transfer case, trailer guidance and Pro Trailer Backup Assist. Lincoln advertises up to 8,700 lb when properly equipped. Wheel selection, wheelbase and the required hitch equipment affect the permitted rating, so the towing guide and the actual build must be checked before selecting a trailer. Passengers, cargo and trailer tongue weight also consume payload on both vehicles.

Fuel Economy

Natural Resources Canada’s 2026 guide lists Escalade 4WD at 16.6 L/100 km city, 13.0 highway and 15.0 combined, using premium gasoline. Navigator 4WD is listed at 15.7 city, 10.9 highway and 13.6 combined, using regular gasoline for the fuel-consumption rating. Lincoln’s premium-fuel horsepower statement and the guide’s regular-fuel consumption entry describe different test conditions; they should not be merged into a claim that regular fuel produces the advertised peak output. Towing, temperature and load can increase consumption.

Pricing in Canadian Dollars

Pricing illustrates why the advertised totals need careful reading. The Ontario Escalade Sport build showed a C$134,599 standard vehicle price. Freight, air-conditioning excise tax, dealer administration and listed levies brought the subtotal to C$138,342.50. Adding its estimated C$7,669 luxury tax produced a displayed net price of C$146,011.50, before provincial sales tax and licensing.

Lincoln’s Ontario 2026 starting figures were C$122,190 for Premiere, C$131,690 for Reserve and C$151,690 for Black Label. Black Label L started at C$155,690. Lincoln’s starting-price explanation includes destination and delivery and applicable air-conditioning and green levies, but excludes options, retailer fees, luxury surcharge, sales taxes and licensing. Therefore, C$146,011.50 for the Cadillac and C$151,690 for the Lincoln are not equivalent final-price totals. Obtain itemized quotations with the same tax treatment and body length.

Competition and Choosing Equipment

The Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X7 and Jeep Grand Wagoneer are other three-row luxury SUV alternatives. Compare their seat arrangement, usable third-row space, cargo room with passengers aboard and equipment included at the quoted price. A high advertised towing maximum is only useful if the ordered vehicle retains enough payload for the intended family and trailer.

Escalade Sport’s distinctive specification is its V8, large curved display and dark exterior treatment. Navigator Black Label adds its curated interior themes, standard massaging front seats, ventilated second-row chairs and 28-speaker audio. The most useful comparison is a complete equipment and price sheet: Cadillac’s optional air suspension, upgraded audio and rear entertainment should be priced alongside Lincoln’s standard Black Label features.

Frequently asked questions

Which has more horsepower: Escalade Sport or Navigator Black Label?

Navigator Black Label’s twin-turbo V6 is rated at 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, versus 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft for Escalade Sport’s 6.2-litre V8. Lincoln’s quoted output is based on premium fuel.

Can these SUVs seat eight people?

Both configurations normally seat seven. Escalade offers an available second-row bench for eight seats. Do not apply the Navigator range’s general eight-passenger claim to a Black Label without confirming that specific build.

Is air suspension standard on both SUVs?

No. Escalade Sport has standard Magnetic Ride Control, with Air Ride Adaptive Suspension available separately. Navigator Black Label has adaptive dampers with coil springs; its adaptive suspension should not be described as air suspension.
