2023 Ram 1500 Limited: Features & Canadian Trim Comparison

The 2023 Ram 1500 Limited places the emphasis on a premium cabin and suspension equipment. It sits above the Sport and Rebel in this comparison, but the higher trim badge is not a promise that every driver-assistance, cargo or appearance package is included.

Limited’s standard equipment

The Canadian 2023 brochure lists four-corner air suspension, full-leather front bucket seats, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path and trailer detection, and a wireless charging pad among Limited equipment. Canadian Limited specification. Optional packages can add further equipment.

Limited does not mean every package

Night Edition, the Elite Package, panoramic roof, multifunction tailgate and other equipment groups are listed separately in the brochure. Canadian Limited optional equipment. Do not assume an Elite interior or black appearance treatment on a standard Limited.

Powertrain checks

The Canadian brochure lists these 2023 trims with the 5.7-litre HEMI V8 and an eight-speed automatic, with eTorque also offered. The engine rating is 395 hp and 410 lb-ft. Dated Canadian engine overview.

eTorque is a mild-hybrid system, not a plug-in powertrain. Its launch assistance does not change the published HEMI engine rating; identify the engine and eTorque equipment when comparing fuel consumption.

Towing, loading and fuel costs

Select towing information for the exact engine, axle ratio, cab and bed, then confirm the truck’s individual loading limits. The Canadian model-year brochure includes configuration tables and qualifications. A pickup-family maximum is not automatically the rating of a fully optioned Limited or Rebel.

The 2023 NRCan ratings distinguish engine, drivetrain and eTorque configurations. Use the matching entry rather than treating the trim or Night Edition badge as a single fuel-economy specification.

Canadian trim comparison and pricing

The following retained Canadian 2023 catalogue MSRP references were checked October 29, 2026. Their original effective date is unknown. All rows use Crew Cab 4×4 with the 5-foot-7 bed and base catalogue equipment. They exclude optional Night Edition and other upgrades; destination, taxes and other applicable charges are separate; dealer preparation must not be added again where already included. These are not launch-price claims, current VIN quotes or used-truck values.

Canadian trimCatalogue MSRP (CAD)Main distinction
Sport$67,89520-inch wheels, heated front seats and steering wheel, and a 12-inch centre touchscreen.
Rebel$69,945Bilstein shocks, locking rear differential, skid plates and 18-inch all-terrain tires; 8.4-inch centre screen.
Limited$84,145Full-leather front buckets, four-corner air suspension, blind-spot/trailer detection and wireless charging.

Source: Canadian 2023 catalogue. The catalogue Limited reference is $14,200 above Rebel and $16,250 above Sport. These gaps buy a different base equipment package, not a universal set of every option. Compare a suitably equipped lower trim against the actual Limited quote.

The Limited base-price reference includes dealer preparation, with destination charged separately. A Canadian 2023 Limited factory sticker corroborates the $84,145 base price, with $2,095 destination and $100 A/C tax separate. It is a reference vehicle, not confirmation of our filmed truck, and does not establish the bed length. The source records do not establish a common original effective date across all three trims, so the differences are historical reference arithmetic rather than a simultaneous dealer offer.
