2025 Ford F-150 Raptor: Specs, Features & Canadian Pricing

The 2025 Ford F-150 Raptor combines a 450-horsepower twin-turbo V6 with a five-link rear suspension, FOX Live Valve shocks and a wide off-road stance. The regular V6 version already includes much of the equipment that makes a Raptor appealing. Moving to the Raptor 37 changes the tires, dampers and seats; moving to Raptor R buys a different engine at a much higher price.

This guide covers the 2025 F-150 Raptor featured in our video, with Canadian specifications, standard-versus-optional equipment and dated Canadian price comparisons. It focuses on the V6 Raptor rather than applying the supercharged Raptor R’s figures to every truck with the badge.

Models available

The 2025 F-150 lineup includes XL, STX, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Tremor and Raptor. Within Raptor, 801A is the regular V6 specification, 802A is the Raptor 37 equipment group and 803A is Raptor R. Raptor 37 keeps the V6; its larger tires do not make it a Raptor R.

Raptor uses a four-door SuperCrew cab, four-wheel drive and a 5½-foot box. There is no long-box Raptor choice here. The comparison below keeps the cab and drivetrain aligned, rather than making a basic Regular Cab F-150 look like a directly comparable alternative.

Engine and transmission

The high-output 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 produces 450 hp at 5,850 rpm and 510 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 rpm. A ten-speed automatic is standard. Ford’s ordinary 3.5-litre EcoBoost F-150 specification is different, so its power and towing figures should not be substituted for the Raptor’s. Ford Canada’s 2025 F-150 guide.

Both 801A and Raptor 37 use this powertrain. Raptor R instead has a supercharged 5.2-litre V8 with 720 hp and 640 lb-ft. For a buyer mainly interested in the Raptor suspension and cabin, the V6 avoids paying for an engine upgrade that may not be the priority.

Suspension and off-road equipment

Standard Raptor equipment includes the five-link rear suspension, FOX Live Valve shocks, skid plates and Trail Control. The 801A Canadian factory record specifies 17-inch cast-aluminum wheels, LT315/70R17 all-terrain tires in the 35-inch class, and a 4.10 electronic-locking rear axle. Canadian 801A factory equipment record.

The 802A Raptor 37 group adds 37×12.5R17 tires, dual-valve shocks, beadlock-capable cast-aluminum wheels and RECARO seats. These are meaningful specification changes, not equipment included on every V6 Raptor. Beadlock-capable wheels also should not be described as having a beadlock conversion fitted.

For a used example, check tire size against its original build and inspect the suspension, wheels and underbody for modifications or damage. A truck advertised as “37 package” should have the equipment-group record to support that claim. Aftermarket tires alone do not establish the factory package.

Towing and load limits

Ford Canada lists a maximum conventional trailer weight of 8,200 lb, approximately 3,719 kg, for the high-output V6 Raptor. Its towing-table entries use the SuperCrew 4×4 layout, 4.10 axle and gross combined weight ratings of 14,600 or 14,650 lb. The Raptor R’s 8,700-lb figure does not apply to this V6.

Ford also specifies a 5,000-lb trailer limit without a weight-distribution system and does not recommend fifth-wheel towing for Raptor. Passengers, cargo and trailer tongue weight still have to fit within the individual truck’s load limits. Use the door-jamb label and actual loaded trailer weight when making the final match.

Fuel economy

The Canadian EnerGuide label rates the V6 Raptor at 16.6 L/100 km city, 13.1 highway and 15.0 combined. The same rating appears on the 801A and 802A Canadian records used here. These are standardized figures, not consumption measured during the video. Canadian Raptor 37 EnerGuide and equipment label.

At 20,000 km per year, 15.0 L/100 km represents about 3,000 litres. Multiply that by the fuel price you expect to pay for a useful annual budget. Short winter trips, off-road use and towing can change actual consumption substantially; the Raptor’s capability comes with a fuel bill worth considering before buying.

Interior, seating and everyday use

The SuperCrew cabin seats five, with front bucket seats and a centre console. The regular Raptor has leather-trimmed front seating; the 37 package changes to RECARO seating. Heated front and rear seats, dual-zone automatic climate control and memory power-adjustable pedals are part of the Canadian Raptor equipment list.

A twin-panel moonroof remains optional. The August 2025 801A example lists it at $1,750, separate from the base vehicle price. Do not assume that a high-priced Raptor has a moonroof, RECARO seats or the larger tire package without checking the particular truck.

Try the seat bolsters and running boards with the people who will use the truck. Its short box and wide body suit some jobs better than others, so measure garage access and the cargo you regularly carry. A comfortable rear seat does not compensate for a truck that is awkward to park where it will spend most of its time.

Infotainment and driver assistance

A 12-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen is paired with a 12-inch instrument display. B&O audio, a head-up display, six upfitter switches and a 360-degree camera are included in the Canadian Raptor specification. The Raptor 37 package is not needed to obtain those features.

Adaptive cruise control, pre-collision assistance with automatic emergency braking, a reversing camera and rear parking sensors are also listed as standard. They assist the driver rather than making the truck autonomous. Check the cameras and sensors during a used-vehicle inspection, and review connected-service terms separately from the hardware.

2025 Canadian trim and package comparison

These dated Canadian factory records compare SuperCrew 4×4 short-box off-road configurations, not every starting build in the F-150 range. Amounts include the named equipment group but exclude other options, destination charges, the air-conditioning excise tax and sales taxes. Records were checked on October 28, 2026; their original printed dates differ.

Raptor 37 / 802A$123,615February 27, 2025$108,475 base plus $15,140 package; 37-inch tires, dual-valve shocks and RECARO seats.
Raptor R / 803A$151,030July 21, 2025$108,875 base plus $42,155 package; supercharged V8 and forged wheels. Archived original Canadian Ford label.

The August 801A record adds $2,595 destination and delivery plus $100 air-conditioning excise, making $111,570 before other options and sales taxes. Its moonroof, block heater and dealer-installed keypad bring that particular example to $114,150. Neither total is an established as-tested price for the video truck.

The 802A package was $15,140 on its February record. Comparing that package amount is more useful than subtracting two advertised dealer totals with different equipment. The Raptor R row uses an archived original Canadian factory label; the records document historical prices, not a current offer or used-value estimate.

Competition and choosing a version

Choose 801A if the V6 Raptor chassis and standard cabin equipment cover your needs. Consider Raptor 37 for its specific tire, damper and seat changes. Raptor R makes sense for a buyer who specifically wants the supercharged V8, while Tremor deserves consideration when the Raptor’s specialized hardware is unnecessary.

Frequently asked questions

The regular Raptor and Raptor 37 use the 450-hp high-output V6. The 803A Raptor R uses the 720-hp supercharged V8.

Are 37-inch tires standard?

No. They are included with the 802A Raptor 37 group and Raptor R. The regular 801A record uses 35-inch-class tires.

How much can the V6 Raptor tow?

Ford Canada lists up to 8,200 lb when correctly equipped and loaded within the truck’s limits. Do not apply the wider F-150 range’s higher maximum to Raptor.
