The 2026 Cadillac LYRIQ-V Premium brings the V-Series badge to an electric SUV with a clear performance specification: dual-motor all-wheel drive, adaptive damping and Brembo front brakes. Its Cadillac-estimated 615 horsepower is available in Velocity Max. The Premium trim adds faster AC charging and an opening panoramic roof rather than another increase in power.
This guide covers the LYRIQ-V Premium featured in our video, with Canadian specifications, charging information, standard-versus-optional equipment and a CAD trim comparison. Prices below are dated Ontario advertised starting figures, not a quote for the vehicle in the video.

Models available
Cadillac’s Canadian 2026 LYRIQ range spans Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, Premium Sport, Signature Luxury, Signature Sport, LYRIQ-V and LYRIQ-V Premium. The V models are the performance-focused choices. The extra money for V Premium mainly goes toward cabin specification and AC charging equipment.
Electric motors and performance
Both V trims use a 102-kWh battery and dual-motor AWD. Cadillac quotes 615 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque in Velocity Max, with a 3.3-second run from 0 to 96 km/h using Launch Control. That manufacturer estimate uses initial vehicle movement on a closed course.
V-Mode lets the driver save performance-oriented settings. Competitive Mode changes the traction-management approach for closed-course use. These selectable functions are part of the performance package, rather than a reason to expect maximum-output operation under every condition.
Suspension, brakes and wheels
Continuous Damping Control is standard on LYRIQ-V. Its electronically controlled dampers work with V-specific suspension calibration, while the front brakes use Brembo six-piston fixed calipers. The 22-inch reverse-rim alloy wheels carry a laser-etched V-Series emblem.
Summer-only low-profile tires are standard, with all-season tires available. Coloured calipers, performance brake linings and the Carbon Fibre Exterior Package are also available rather than standard features. Tire fitment and these options can change an individual vehicle’s specification and price.
Range and energy consumption
Natural Resources Canada’s 2026 guide rates LYRIQ-V at 459 km of range. Its energy-consumption figures are 24.0 kWh/100 km in the city, 29.2 on the highway and 26.3 combined. The guide lists the same range and consumption for the 11.5-kW and 19.2-kW charging configurations.
Those numbers provide a consistent comparison with other EVs; they are not a promise for an individual trip. Cold weather, speed, elevation, passenger and luggage load, and cabin heating all matter when planning charging stops. Leave a practical reserve rather than scheduling arrival at an empty battery.
At the combined rating, 20,000 km corresponds to approximately 5,260 kWh. Applying the relevant home and public-charging prices gives a starting point for an energy budget; actual costs depend on how and where the vehicle is charged.
Home and public charging
V Premium includes a 19.2-kW AC onboard charging module, compared with 11.5 kW on LYRIQ-V. Taking advantage of the higher rating requires compatible charging equipment and an electrical installation that can supply it. The vehicle’s onboard rating is only one part of the charging setup.
The NRCan guide lists a seven-hour recharge time for the 19.2-kW version and 11.2 hours for the 11.5-kW version. These standardized figures are useful for comparison, but actual charging depends on the starting battery level, equipment, temperature and conditions.
Cadillac lists 190-kW public DC fast-charging capability for the V models and estimates that up to 120 km of range can be added in as little as ten minutes under suitable conditions. That is a best-case manufacturer estimate, and peak power is not maintained throughout a charging session.
Interior and convenience
The cabin pairs a 33-inch curved LED display with a 23-speaker AKG audio system featuring Dolby Atmos capability. An augmented-reality head-up display adds another way to present information in the driver’s sightline. The V-specific steering wheel includes a dedicated V-Mode button and a Regen On Demand paddle.
Premium adds a power-opening panoramic roof with a sunshade. Cadillac offers Noir and Oxford Stone Nappa interior choices with Dark Ash open-pore wood detailing; the exact interior colour and option configuration need to be confirmed on an individual vehicle. The black exterior roof and V-Series styling help distinguish the performance models.
Infotainment and connectivity
Google built-in compatibility brings navigation, supported apps and voice functions into the vehicle interface. The 2026 LYRIQ also supports over-the-air software updates. Connected functions can depend on an account, compatible service plan and network coverage, so distinguish included hardware from a time-limited subscription.
Safety features and Super Cruise
Cadillac’s Canadian 2026 feature information lists Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning as standard. Super Cruise hands-free driver-assistance capability is also included with a three-year trial.
Super Cruise operates only when its requirements are met, including use on compatible roads and an active eligible service. The driver must remain attentive and ready to take over. Cameras, sensors and assistance systems do not remove the need to check traffic, visibility and road conditions.
Pricing in CAD and trim comparison
The table uses Cadillac Canada’s 2026 LYRIQ page with Ontario selected, checked October 28, 2026. These are advertised starting prices for that snapshot, not launch prices, remaining-stock guarantees or reviewed-unit totals.
| Canadian trim | Starting CAD | Key equipment distinction | Compared with V Premium |
|---|---|---|---|
| Luxury | $74,043 | Core display, Super Cruise capability, fixed glass roof | $27,214 less |
| Sport | $74,043 | Sport grille and darker exterior detailing | $27,214 less |
| Premium Luxury | $82,643 | AKG audio, camera mirror and hands-free liftgate | $18,614 less |
| Premium Sport | $82,643 | Premium convenience with Sport styling | $18,614 less |
| Signature Luxury | $88,143 | 22-inch wheels, AR head-up display and heated rear seats | $13,114 less |
| Signature Sport | $88,143 | Signature equipment with Sport styling | $13,114 less |
| LYRIQ-V | $94,943 | Performance AWD, adaptive damping and Brembo front brakes | $6,314 less |
| LYRIQ-V Premium | $101,257 | 19.2-kW AC charging, opening panoramic roof and Nappa interior choices | Featured trim |
Cadillac’s advertised-price disclosure includes freight, the $100 air-conditioning charge, dealer fees up to $699, estimated federal luxury tax where applicable, and other regional fees and levies. Licence, insurance, registration and applicable sales taxes are extra. Paint, options, accessories and dealer pricing can change the final amount.
The $6,314 advertised gap between the two V models pays for the Premium equipment rather than more power. Its charger upgrade offers the greatest benefit with a home installation capable of supplying 19.2 kW; otherwise, the roof and interior choices become the more tangible reasons to step up.

Frequently asked questions
Does LYRIQ-V Premium have more power than LYRIQ-V?
No. Both use dual-motor AWD with Cadillac-estimated 615 hp and 650 lb-ft in Velocity Max. Premium changes the equipment specification rather than the quoted peak output.
What is the Canadian range rating?
NRCan lists 459 km for both LYRIQ-V charger configurations. Treat that as a standardized rating, not a guaranteed range in winter or on a particular route.
Are all-season tires standard?
Cadillac lists summer-only tires as standard and all-season tires as available. Confirm which tires are installed on the vehicle being quoted.
Is the Premium trim worth considering?
It is the more relevant V trim for someone who wants an opening panoramic roof and can make use of faster AC charging. Buyers mainly interested in V-Series performance should compare the less expensive LYRIQ-V, since it shares the peak output and core performance hardware.
