The redesigned 2025 Infiniti QX80 Sensory sits between Luxe and Autograph in the Canadian range. It is the version to examine if upgraded cabin materials, front-seat comfort and audio are priorities, but you do not necessarily need the highest trim’s second-row luxury features. At this price, identifying which upgrades your family will use matters more than choosing the longest equipment list.

Models available
Canada’s 2025 launch range consists of Luxe, Sensory and Autograph, with four-wheel drive throughout. Use Canadian information when comparing listings; other markets have different trim lineups. The chart below compares their equipment without quoting unverified current prices.
Engine and transmission
The 2025 QX80 uses a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 with 450 horsepower and 515 lb-ft, plus a nine-speed automatic. It replaces the older model’s V8. Infiniti Canada’s manufacturer-issued launch release.
What Sensory adds
Over Luxe, Sensory brings semi-aniline leather in the first two rows, massaging front seats, biometric cooling, 24-speaker Klipsch audio and a camera-based rearview mirror. These are comfort and convenience upgrades rather than extra engine power. Canadian trim equipment.
Displays and driver assistance
The cabin uses twin 14.3-inch displays and a separate 9-inch control screen. Sensory has ProPILOT Assist 1.1; Autograph’s 2.1 system is a separate upgrade. Do not describe the Sensory system as hands-free. Displays and assistance systems.
Fuel consumption and towing checks
| 2025 QX80 4WD | City | Highway | Combined |
|---|---|---|---|
| L/100 km | 15.1 | 12.2 | 13.8 |
NRCan’s 2025 dataset lists these ratings using premium gasoline. They are standardized figures, not fuel results from our video. Build your operating budget around your own annual distance and local fuel prices; city-heavy use and winter conditions can change consumption.
If towing is part of the plan, have the retailer confirm the exact vehicle’s limits and equipment against its owner’s manual. Include passengers, cargo and trailer tongue weight in the payload assessment. A large SUV’s seating capacity and its maximum trailer figure should not be treated as independent allowances.
Canadian trim comparison and pricing
Current Canadian manufacturer pricing for these exact 2025 configurations has not been verified as of October 31, 2026. Vehicle prices and price differences are therefore omitted; the chart compares equipment only.
| Trim | Main reason to choose it |
|---|---|
| Luxe | Alternative entry to the same engine/4WD family |
| Sensory | Semi-aniline seating, front massage, biometric cooling and 24-speaker Klipsch audio |
| Autograph | Second-row massage and ProPILOT Assist 2.1 |

Sensory is the logical middle-ground candidate when its front-seat and audio upgrades are priorities. Luxe deserves consideration if you mainly need the vehicle’s size and powertrain. Autograph becomes more relevant when second-row comfort or its additional assistance capability is the reason for the purchase. None is automatically the best value for every household.
Competition and buying verdict
Compare the QX80 with the Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator and Lexus LX in the configurations you can actually buy. Bring the same passenger, cargo and parking checklist to each. Our video is useful for inspecting the Sensory layout; a test drive and a fully itemized quote remain important before deciding whether it suits your needs.
