| Catalogue reference | CAD price | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| XLT 2WD SuperCab, 6.5-ft box | $61,640 | Eight-way power driver’s seat and 360-degree camera; different cab/drivetrain |
| Lariat 4WD SuperCrew, 5.5-ft box, 3.5L | $81,240 | Heated/ventilated front seats, adaptive cruise and memory-adjustable pedals |
| Platinum 4WD SuperCrew, 5.5-ft box, 3.5L | $104,085 | $22,845 more; Active Motion leather seats and power-deployable running boards |
Sources: Westview’s XLT reference and Lariat/Platinum comparison. These are not present-day used values or the reviewed truck’s sticker price.
Platinum’s Active Motion leather seats and power-deployable running boards are concrete reasons to pay more. The 12-inch screens are already present lower in the range, so screen size alone does not justify that step.
Bed, passengers and towing
A comfortable interior does not remove the need to check the working side of the truck. Measure the cargo you regularly carry, assess rear-seat use with all occupants present and consider whether bed accessories will be required. Read the payload label and confirm towing equipment before committing to a trailer, rather than applying the range-wide maximum to this particular truck.
Buying verdict
Lariat is a logical place to start when seat comfort and everyday convenience matter, but Platinum pricing feels difficult to justify. Compare it with equivalent Ram, Chevrolet and GMC configurations on the same basis. For a used truck, condition, service records and the exact options can outweigh a small difference in advertised trim prestige.
