The 2025 Ford Bronco Raptor starts with 37-inch tires, locking front and rear differentials and FOX Live Valve dampers. Its 418-horsepower twin-turbo V6 and four-door body make it a different proposition from a regular Bronco fitted with larger tires. The important buying question is how much of that specialized hardware you will use.
This guide covers the Canadian 2025 Bronco Raptor featured in our video, including its engine, towing, cabin equipment and original Canadian pricing. The Raptor’s standard specification is separated from optional wheels, upholstery and appearance packages.

Models available
The 2025 Bronco range includes Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Badlands, Heritage Edition, Stroppe Edition and Raptor. Body style and engine availability vary. Raptor is a four-door, five-seat model with a 3.0-litre V6; the Stroppe Edition is a two-door alternative with a 2.7-litre V6.
Sasquatch is an equipment package on other Broncos, not another name for Raptor. A Badlands or Outer Banks with Sasquatch has a different suspension, engine and tire specification. Bronco Sport is a separate vehicle and should not appear in a trim-price comparison as the entry-level version of this Bronco.
Engine and transmission
Raptor’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre EcoBoost V6 produces 418 hp at 5,750 rpm and 440 lb-ft at 2,750 rpm. Those output figures are based on premium fuel. It comes with a ten-speed automatic and four-wheel drive; the seven-speed manual offered elsewhere in the Bronco range is not a Raptor option. Ford’s 2025 Bronco technical specifications.
The larger engine is only part of the reason for the Raptor premium. Buyers comparing it with a 2.7-litre Badlands should account for the chassis changes and included equipment as well as power. Conversely, paying for Raptor solely to obtain adaptive cruise control or a surround-view camera overlooks less expensive Bronco configurations that offer those features.
Suspension, tires and off-road equipment
HOSS 4.0 suspension with FOX Live Valve dampers is Raptor-specific. Standard equipment includes front and rear locking differentials, a front stabilizer-bar disconnect, steel bash plates and rock rails with removable running boards. Ford lists 13.1 inches of ground clearance and 13 inches of front and 14 inches of rear wheel travel for Raptor.
The 37-inch all-terrain tires are standard, but beadlock-capable wheels are not automatically included. The Canadian June 2025 record lists the regular 17-inch high-gloss black aluminum wheels. Another Canadian record puts forged beadlock-capable wheels within an extra-cost Shadow Black Appearance Package. Check the wheel itself and original build, rather than assuming the description applies to every Raptor. Canadian Raptor equipment record.
The wide fenders and large tires are central to the vehicle’s purpose, but they also make a parking-space check worthwhile. Inspect a used example’s tire wear, spare, underbody protection and suspension for damage or non-factory changes. A clean exterior alone tells little about its previous off-road use.
Towing and load limits
Ford Canada rates the 2025 Bronco Raptor to tow up to 4,500 lb, approximately 2,041 kg. The listed configuration has the 3.0-litre V6, ten-speed automatic, 4.70 axle and 10,650-lb gross combined weight rating. Tow Package 2 is standard; the Canadian guide lists the receiver, wiring, trailer module and auxiliary transmission oil cooler as included. 2025 Canadian Bronco towing guide.
The receiver’s listed maximum tongue load is 450 lb. Trailer tongue weight, occupants and luggage must also fit within the actual vehicle’s payload. The guide’s Raptor trailer frontal-area limit is 40 square feet, so trailer weight alone is not the complete compatibility check. Verify the loaded combination before committing to a trailer.
Fuel economy
Natural Resources Canada rates the 2025 Bronco Raptor 4WD at 15.7 L/100 km city, 14.8 highway and 15.3 combined. This is the Raptor-specific 3.0-litre rating, not an ordinary Bronco’s figure. NRCan’s 2025 model-year dataset.
At 20,000 km annually, the combined figure represents about 3,060 litres. Use your expected fuel price to turn that into a budget and allow for actual conditions. The small city-to-highway difference also means that mostly highway use does not transform this into a low-consumption SUV.
Interior, seating and cargo
Raptor seats five in two rows. The standard front-seat upholstery is marine-grade vinyl, with six-way manual adjustment. Leather-trimmed and suede seating is optional: the June Canadian label adds $3,145 for it. The high price of the vehicle should not be mistaken for a promise of standard leather or power seat adjustment.
A heated steering wheel, heated front seats and dual-zone automatic climate control are included. The rear bench splits 60/40, allowing a longer item to share the cabin with a rear passenger. Try the seating position and rear access before buying, particularly if the Bronco will double as the main family vehicle.
The roof and doors are removable, with the appropriate removal tools and storage requirements. The standard hardtop and an optional painted hardtop are different specifications. Allow storage space for removed panels and check the seals, fasteners and included tools on a used vehicle; missing pieces can complicate an otherwise straightforward purchase.
Infotainment and safety features
The cabin pairs a 12-inch digital instrument display with a 12-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen. The Canadian 374A equipment group includes the High/Lux package, 360-degree camera and adaptive cruise control. Ford’s equipment guide identifies the B&O audio system with 12 speakers as part of the Lux specification.
Canadian standard equipment also lists blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assistance, pre-collision assistance with automatic emergency braking and rear parking sensors. These systems support an attentive driver; they do not replace checking the surroundings, particularly when tall tires or nearby obstacles restrict visibility. Connected features and navigation services have separate account and service requirements.
2025 Canadian trim and configuration comparison
The following Canadian factory records were checked on October 28, 2026. All three are four-door, five-seat 4x4s with a V6 and ten-speed automatic. Prices include the engine, transmission and named equipment group, but not unrelated options, destination, excise or sales taxes. Engines and off-road hardware still differ, so these are configuration comparisons rather than pure trim premiums.
| 2025 configuration | Historical configured MSRP (CAD) | Factory-label date | Included basis and differences |
|---|---|---|---|
| Outer Banks 314A, 2.7L V6 | $67,785 | July 17, 2025 | $61,290 base + $3,800 High/Lux + $2,695 V6. Automatic included; this record has open differentials and 32-inch tires, without Sasquatch. |
| Badlands 334A, 2.7L V6 automatic | $75,450 | July 16, 2025 | $67,460 base + $3,800 group + $2,695 V6 + $1,495 automatic. Locking differentials; additional tires, leather and hardtop on the example cost extra. |
| Raptor 374A, 3.0L V6 | $115,925 | June 6, 2025 | High/Lux, ten-speed automatic, HOSS 4.0, 37-inch tires and Raptor towing equipment included. Leather/suede upholstery remains optional. |
For the June Raptor record, $2,295 delivery and $100 air-conditioning excise bring the standard configuration to $118,320 before extra options and applicable sales or other taxes. Leather/suede seats, a black-painted hardtop and Code Orange seat belts take that particular factory-label total to $122,915. It is an illustrative build, not the confirmed price of the vehicle in our video.
Competition and choosing a trim
Badlands is the useful comparison for buyers who want locking differentials and serious trail equipment without the Raptor’s larger engine and wider chassis. Outer Banks suits a different priority, combining a more road-oriented specification with available cabin technology. Compare the actual options before deciding that the Raptor’s price difference buys features you need.
Our 2026 Bronco Raptor review and 2026 Bronco Badlands Sasquatch review provide newer-model context. Their equipment and prices should not be substituted for this 2025 comparison.
Frequently asked questions
Are leather seats standard in the Bronco Raptor?
No. Marine-grade vinyl is standard. The Canadian factory record prices leather/suede seating separately.
Does every Bronco Raptor have beadlock-capable wheels?
No. Standard 37-inch tires do not establish the optional wheel specification. Check the factory equipment list.
Can the Bronco Raptor tow 4,500 lb?
That is Ford Canada’s maximum for the specified 2025 Raptor configuration. The loaded vehicle, trailer, tongue weight and frontal area must still remain within the applicable limits.
