The 2026 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition combines the Limited’s premium leather cabin and four-corner air suspension with dark exterior details and 22-inch wheels. Its appeal is the combination of luxury equipment and a useful pickup bed, rather than a separate engine exclusive to the Night Edition.

This guide covers Canadian specifications, equipment and CAD pricing. The walkaround below shows the truck’s design; the specifications come from Ram Canada and government fuel-consumption information.

2026 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition: Engine Specs

Engine bay of the 2026 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition

The standard Limited powertrain is a 3.0-litre twin-turbo Hurricane high-output inline-six producing 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. It uses an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Canadian builder offers this Limited as a Crew Cab 4×4, with a 5-foot-7-inch or 6-foot-4-inch bed. The shorter-bed configuration researched here has a 3.92 rear axle ratio and a 7,100-lb gross vehicle weight rating.

A 5.7-litre HEMI V8 with eTorque is also available on the Limited. Its output is 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft. That is a different engine choice, with different fuel-consumption and capability ratings. Night Edition describes the appearance package; it does not identify which engine is installed.

Models and Trims Available

The 2026 range includes Tradesman, Express, Big Horn, Sport, Rebel, Laramie, Limited, Limited Longhorn, Tungsten and RHO. The Canadian builder also lists Black Express, Warlock and Backcountry configurations. These names cover different equipment and appearance packages, so the number of builder choices is larger than a simple list of core trims.

Limited sits above Laramie. Longhorn offers a different interior theme, while Tungsten adds flagship cabin equipment. Rebel and RHO emphasize off-road hardware. The Limited Night Edition is the luxury-oriented choice for buyers who prefer darker exterior detailing.

Night Edition Exterior Features

The package includes 22-by-9-inch black-painted aluminum wheels, black badging and mirror details, body-colour bumpers and a sport hood. The researched build pairs those wheels with 285/45R22XL all-season tires. A dark appearance package does not automatically make those tires suitable for severe winter conditions.

On the Canadian configuration adding Night Edition also required the Limited Level A Equipment Group. That selection brought the larger touchscreen and additional assistance systems into the build. The resulting equipment list therefore includes more than wheels and cosmetic changes.

Interior, Seating and Storage

The Limited has premium quilted leather-faced front bucket seats and seating for five. Its centre console takes the place of a front middle seat. Six-seat configurations elsewhere in the Ram range should not be applied to this trim. The builder lists black seating and a black interior with Ebony Red seats.

The Crew Cab gives the truck a full second row, while the pickup bed provides separate space for larger cargo. Bed length matters when comparing overall vehicle size and the length of objects that can be carried with the tailgate closed. Active-Level four-corner air suspension is a Limited feature, with adjustable ride height rather than an off-road lift package.

RamBox cargo storage and a tri-fold soft tonneau cover appear in the researched Level A build. A dual-pane panoramic sunroof, multifunction tailgate and trailer-towing mirrors remain separate options. Those features should not be described as universally included on every Limited Night Edition.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The underlying Limited builder lists Uconnect 5 NAV with a 12-inch touchscreen. The Night Edition build checked here required Level A, which replaced that screen with the 14.4-inch display identified in the configurator. Ram’s general marketing also describes its larger display as 14.5 inches; the configuration-specific label is used here.

Level A includes navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, a head-up display, a digital rearview mirror, Smartphone as a Key and a surround-view camera system. It also lists a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot and a six-month SiriusXM service trial. Connected services and data plans can require paid subscriptions after their included periods.

Safety and Driver Assistance

Limited includes blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-path detection. The researched Level A package adds intersection collision assistance, evasive steering assistance, drowsy-driver detection and traffic-sign recognition. The surround-view camera helps show the area around the vehicle when manoeuvring.

Hands-Free Active Driving Assist is also listed in Level A. It is an assistance system with road, monitoring and operating requirements; the driver remains responsible for the vehicle. It should be identified as package equipment rather than a feature fitted to every unoptioned Limited.

2026 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition: Towing and Payload

Pickup bed beneath its closed cover of the 2026 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition

Ram Canada lists a maximum of 10,000 lb (4,536 kg) towing and 1,510 lb (685 kg) payload for properly equipped high-output Hurricane configurations. These are engine-range maximums, not a promise that the shorter-bed Night Edition in this article can carry or tow those exact amounts.

A truck’s actual rating depends on bed length, axle ratio, installed options and loaded weight. Passengers, accessories and trailer tongue weight use payload. Check the door label and the VIN-specific towing information before choosing a trailer. The Canadian builder lists a trailer brake controller and towing groups separately, so towing accessories must also be included in the equipment comparison.

Fuel Economy

The 2026 government fuel-consumption guide lists the Ram 1500 4×4 with the high-output 3.0-litre engine at 15.7 L/100 km city, 11.5 highway and 13.8 combined, with premium gasoline identified for this rating. The separate RHO rating is not the Limited rating.

For comparison, the 5.7-litre 4×4 listing is 14.7 city, 11.6 highway and 13.3 combined. Laboratory ratings are a comparison tool; towing, winter temperatures, idling and load change actual consumption. The HEMI’s eTorque system does not make the truck a plug-in hybrid.

2026 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition: Pricing

The Ontario cash builder showed C$100,396 estimated for a Bright White, high-output, 5-foot-7-inch-bed Limited with Night Edition and its required Level A group, with sales tax unchecked. The breakdown listed C$98,906 base price, C$12,990 in selections and C$11,500 consumer cash deducted before taxes.

Night Edition was C$3,895 and Limited Level A was C$9,095. The estimate is therefore an incentive-adjusted configuration reference, not a standalone Night Edition MSRP. Paint, towing accessories, a sunroof, dealer charges and changing incentives can alter the total. Obtain an itemized CAD quote showing freight, fees, taxes and the expiry date of any discount.

Competition and Buying Considerations

The closest shopping alternatives include Ford F-150 Platinum and King Ranch, GMC Sierra 1500 Denali, Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country and Toyota Tundra Platinum or Capstone. Compare their Canadian cabin equipment, bed choices, engine availability and actual payload labels alongside the purchase price.

Within Ram’s range, Laramie deserves consideration if you want premium features at a lower price. Longhorn changes the interior style, and Tungsten adds another level of cabin equipment. The Limited Night Edition is most relevant when its leather interior, air suspension and dark exterior treatment match your priorities. Its large wheels and required equipment package also increase the amount of equipment—and cost—you are buying.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Ram 1500 Limited use the high-output Hurricane?

Its standard 3.0-litre Hurricane is the high-output version, rated at 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. An available 5.7-litre HEMI is a separate choice with different output and capability figures.

Does Night Edition increase the Limited’s towing capacity?

Night Edition describes the appearance package. It does not create a universal towing rating; engine, bed length, axle, equipment and the individual truck’s load limits determine capability.

Does the Ram Limited Night Edition seat six?

No. The Limited cabin has five seats, with front buckets and a centre console. A six-seat arrangement from another Ram trim does not apply.
