The 2026 Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn puts a Western-inspired interior into Ram’s premium Crew Cab pickup. Bison Brown leather, filigree seat detailing and bright exterior trim distinguish it from the darker Limited Night Edition. The core specifications are equally important: a high-output Hurricane engine, an eight-speed automatic and five-seat bucket-seat layout.
This guide uses Canadian model information and CAD pricing. The video provides a closer look at the vehicle, while the equipment details below come from Ram Canada’s configurator and published specifications.

2026 Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn: Models and Positioning
Ram’s core 2026 choices include Tradesman, Express, Big Horn, Sport, Rebel, Laramie, Limited, Limited Longhorn, Tungsten and RHO. Black Express, Warlock and Backcountry configurations also appear in the Canadian builder. Engine and body choices vary across those names.
The builder labels this version Longhorn, while Limited Longhorn is also used in Ram’s engine specifications. It occupies the luxury end of the lineup alongside Limited. Tungsten adds flagship seating and audio equipment; Rebel and RHO have a more focused off-road specification. Longhorn’s distinctive cabin is the clearest reason to choose it over the adjacent Limited.
Engine and Drivetrain

The standard engine is the 3.0-litre twin-turbo Hurricane high-output inline-six, rated at 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic. The researched Canadian configuration is a Crew Cab 4×4 with the 5-foot-7-inch bed, a 3.92 rear axle ratio and a 7,100-lb gross vehicle weight rating. The builder also offers a 6-foot-4-inch bed.
A 5.7-litre HEMI V8 with eTorque is another Canadian choice. It produces 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft and also uses an eight-speed automatic. The engine selection changes more than the badge: its fuel requirements, consumption figures and towing specification must be compared independently. Neither version is a plug-in hybrid.
2026 Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn: Interior and Seating

The Canadian high-output 22K package lists premium leather seats with filigree, a Bison Brown interior and a full-length centre console. Front bucket seats and a rear bench provide seating for five. A six-passenger bench-seat specification from a different Ram trim does not apply here.
Front equipment includes heated and ventilated seats, eight-way power adjustment for each front seat, four-way lumbar adjustment and seatback massage for the driver and front passenger. The driver has memory settings, and the steering wheel is heated. Ram separately counts seat and lumbar adjustment; the builder’s wording makes those functions clear.
The rear seat is a 60/40 split-folding and reclining design, with second-row heating and ventilation listed in the package. Three rear head restraints and rear seatback map pockets are also included. The cabin colour, detailed leather finish and Longhorn instrument-cluster treatment create a more specific interior identity than a general leather upgrade.

Exterior, Bed and Storage

The Longhorn configuration has a bright grille and surround, a bright Ram grille badge and Longhorn exterior identification. Standard wheels are 20-by-9-inch premium painted/polished aluminum with 275/55R20 all-season tires. The builder offers 22-inch painted/polished wheels as an extra-cost choice.
The Limited-based configuration includes Active-Level four-corner air suspension. It provides adjustable ride height; it should not be confused with the separate Off-Road Group. The researched shorter-bed build offers RamBox storage, with a delete option shown in the builder. Cargo-box equipment can differ with bed choice.
A dual-pane panoramic sunroof, multifunction tailgate, trailer mirrors, bed-utility equipment and tonneau-cover choices depend on options. Decide which storage features matter before comparing prices, especially if you need a specific bed accessory or trailer setup.
Infotainment and Technology

The baseline Canadian configuration lists Uconnect 5 NAV with a 12-inch touchscreen. The larger display is available through the Limited Level A Equipment Group; the configurator identifies it as 14.4 inches, while Ram’s general marketing uses 14.5-inch terminology.
Level A adds a head-up display, digital rearview mirror, surround-view cameras and Smartphone as a Key. Its equipment list also includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, navigation, a Wi-Fi hotspot and a SiriusXM trial. Connected-service subscriptions and data charges should be distinguished from the equipment fitted to the truck.
2026 Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn: Safety Features
The Limited-based specification includes blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-path detection. The optional Level A group adds drowsy-driver detection, evasive steering assistance, intersection collision assistance and traffic-sign recognition. These additions should not be described as standard on a Longhorn ordered without that group.
Hands-Free Active Driving Assist is also part of Level A. Road eligibility, driver monitoring and service conditions apply. Surround-view cameras can help with low-speed visibility, but cameras and assistance systems do not remove the need to check the vehicle’s surroundings.
Towing and Payload
Ram Canada lists the high-output Hurricane range at up to 10,000 lb (4,536 kg) towing and 1,510 lb (685 kg) payload when properly equipped. Those are maximums across eligible engine configurations, not a confirmed rating for every Longhorn bed and option combination.
Luxury equipment, passengers, bed cargo and trailer tongue weight all affect the weight available for a towing setup. Use the specific truck’s payload label and VIN-based towing information. A trailer brake controller and towing groups appear separately in the builder, so their inclusion should be verified rather than assumed from the Longhorn name.
Fuel Economy
The 2026 Fuel Consumption Guide rates the high-output 3.0-litre Ram 1500 4×4 at 15.7 L/100 km city, 11.5 highway and 13.8 combined. Premium gasoline is identified for that listing. It is separate from the RHO’s fuel-consumption entry.
The 5.7-litre 4×4 entry is 14.7 city, 11.6 highway and 13.3 combined. These standardized figures help compare engines; towing, weather, load and idling can change actual consumption considerably. Use the label for the engine installed in the vehicle.
CAD Pricing and Options
The Ontario builder displayed C$88,440 estimated cash for the default high-output, shorter-bed Longhorn. This was an incentive-sensitive builder amount, rather than an unconditional MSRP. The HEMI selection was listed at C$2,500, the 22-inch wheel option at C$1,895 and Limited Level A at C$9,095.
Adding groups or changing the engine can also change required equipment and incentives. Ask for a written CAD quote that separates the vehicle, selections, freight and fees, discounts and sales tax. Do not use the default builder amount as the price of a fully equipped truck with every feature described above.
Competition and Choosing the Trim
Ford F-150 King Ranch is a natural comparison for buyers drawn to a distinctive leather interior. F-150 Platinum, GMC Sierra 1500 Denali or Denali Ultimate, Chevrolet Silverado High Country and Toyota Tundra Capstone also belong on a luxury-pickup shortlist. Compare Canadian equipment and actual load ratings rather than only trim names.
Longhorn is most compelling if you want its Bison Brown cabin, filigree leather, front massage functions and heated/ventilated rear seating. Limited offers a different style, while Tungsten adds further flagship features. The final decision should weigh the exact option list against the extra cost and the payload needed for your passengers, cargo and trailer.
