The 2026 Ford F-150 Lariat brings heated and ventilated front seats, an upgraded sound system and additional driver assistance to Ford’s full-size pickup. It is available with a gasoline EcoBoost V6, a V8 or the PowerBoost hybrid. The standard cabin uses ActiveX upholstery, and the optional Lariat High package adds features that should not be assumed on every Lariat.

Models and configurations
The F-150 lineup includes XL, STX, XLT, Lariat, Tremor, King Ranch, Platinum and Raptor. Lariat is available as a five-seat SuperCrew with a 5½-foot or 6½-foot box. Equipment Group 501A is standard in the build checked, with 502A Lariat High offered as an upgrade. FX4, appearance packages and bed accessories can change the equipment and price without changing the Lariat trim name.
Engine specifications

The standard 3.5-litre twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 produces 382 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque in Ford’s 2026 towing guide, with ratings based on premium fuel. An optional naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 produces 400 hp and 410 lb-ft. The optional 3.5-litre PowerBoost full hybrid produces a combined 420 hp and 570 lb-ft according to the same 2026 guide.
All use ten-speed automatic transmissions; the hybrid has its corresponding hybrid transmission. Four-wheel drive is included in the configuration checked. The base gas build has a 3.31 non-limited-slip axle, while electronic-locking axles and towing-related axle selections are additional configuration choices. The builder lists the V8 at $1,925 extra and PowerBoost at $3,000 extra.
Towing and payload

Ford lists a maximum of 13,500 lb for properly equipped 3.5-litre EcoBoost F-150 configurations and 11,600 lb for properly equipped PowerBoost configurations. These maximums require the specified Tow/Haul equipment and Max Tow Axle; they are not ratings for a standard 501A Lariat with its base axle. Cab, box length, engine, GCWR and options determine the applicable towing-table entry.
The builder lists the Tow/Haul Package at $1,175 on the base Lariat checked. Trailer brake controller and axle equipment should be confirmed on the actual truck. Payload is also vehicle-specific: occupants, bed cargo, accessories and trailer tongue weight all count against the door-jamb label. Pro Trailer Backup Assist, Pro Trailer Hitch Assist and Trailer Reverse Guidance provide useful trailer-positioning assistance.
Fuel economy
NRCan’s 2026 F-150 4×4 ratings are 14.0 L/100 km city, 10.2 highway and 12.3 combined for the 3.5-litre gasoline EcoBoost. The 5.0-litre V8 is listed at 14.8 city, 10.4 highway and 12.8 combined. PowerBoost 4×4 is listed at 11.3 city, 10.0 highway and 10.7 combined. These certified powertrain entries are separate from Tremor and Raptor ratings; confirm the EnerGuide label for the configuration you buy.
Interior and seating

The SuperCrew cabin seats five with front bucket seats, a flow-through console and a three-person rear bench. Standard ActiveX is a synthetic upholstery material, so the base Lariat should not be described as having the leather trim found in higher F-150 models. Heated and ventilated power front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start and push-button start are included.
The rear bench can be raised for cargo, and the cabin has a flat rear load floor. Lariat High 502A adds heated second-row seats, Ice Blue ambient lighting and the Mobile Office Package. A head-up display, wireless charging, moonroof and other options should be checked on the window sticker rather than inferred from a photographed cabin.

Infotainment and connectivity

A 12-inch central touchscreen runs SYNC 4, with a 12-inch digital driver display. Standard 501A includes an eight-speaker B&O system including a subwoofer. The 502A upgrade provides the 14-speaker B&O Unleashed system. Smartphone integration and connected navigation with a one-year trial add convenience, while the 5G modem supports connected features subject to coverage and service terms.
Standard 501A includes 400-watt outlets in the cab and bed. Those outlets are not the same specification as the higher-output Pro Power Onboard systems available through other configurations and engine choices. Check the selected truck’s output before planning to power tools or equipment.
Safety and driver assistance
Standard Ford Co-Pilot360 equipment includes automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assistance, automatic high beams, intersection assistance, post-collision braking, a rear camera and rear parking sensors. Lariat 501A also includes Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 and adaptive cruise control. A 360-degree camera assists with parking and trailer positioning.
BlueCruise equipment and a 90-day trial are included in the standard package; longer plans cost extra and depend on service availability. These features support the driver, who remains responsible for attention and control. No collision-test score is inferred from the trim’s equipment list.
Exterior and bed equipment
The base configuration checked includes 20-inch Chrome-Like PVD wheels, LED projector headlamps with dynamic bending, power-folding heated memory mirrors, chrome door handles and six-inch step bars. Black appearance packages and larger wheel choices change the styling. The Bed Utility Package is optional, as are specific tailgate and cargo accessories; do not assume the Pro Access Tailgate is standard.
Pricing in CAD
The 5½-foot-box 501A configuration checked lists an $84,145 base MSRP, a $1,750 Lariat 501A discount and $2,795 in fees, producing a displayed net starting price of $85,190 before sales tax and additional options. The equivalent 6½-foot-box starting price is $85,590. The discount is part of the displayed calculation and should not be subtracted a second time.
Lariat High 502A is listed at $3,955 extra, with engine upgrades, paint and optional packages adding to the total. Prices and offers may change. These are researched starting prices, rather than the exact sticker price of the vehicle in the video.

A base Lariat and a Lariat High with additional bed or hybrid equipment represent different budgets.

Frequently asked questions
Does the F-150 Lariat have standard leather seats?
The standard Canadian Lariat uses ActiveX, a synthetic upholstery material. Heated and ventilated front seats are included, but the material should not be described as conventional leather.
Does Lariat High change the rear-seat equipment?
Yes. The 502A High group adds heated second-row seats and other cabin upgrades. Those features should not be assumed on the base 501A Lariat.
Can any F-150 Lariat tow 13,500 lb?
No. That maximum requires a qualifying 3.5-litre EcoBoost configuration and the specified towing and axle equipment. PowerBoost has a separate maximum, and every truck must remain within its own payload and weight ratings.
