The 2025 Ford Bronco Outer Banks Sasquatch combines two different priorities: Outer Banks cabin convenience and Sasquatch off-road hardware. The important additions are not just bigger tires. Locking differentials, a different axle ratio and advanced four-wheel drive distinguish the package from an Outer Banks chosen mainly for its seating and exterior trim.
This guide accompanies our 2025 Outer Banks Sasquatch video. Canadian manufacturer material and dated reference builds establish the specifications below. The video description does not identify a VIN or complete option list, so the price examples are not described as the featured vehicle’s invoice.

Models available
The Canadian 2025 Bronco range includes Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Badlands, Heritage Edition, Stroppe Edition and Raptor. Sasquatch is an equipment package offered across several models, not a separate trim with one universal price. This comparison concentrates on four-door Big Bend and Outer Banks builds rather than mixing a two-door starting price with a five-passenger SUV.
Outer Banks is the comfort-oriented choice here, with power front seats, leather-trimmed/vinyl upholstery on the reference records, and tube steps. Badlands warrants a separate comparison for buyers prioritizing its off-road specification. Raptor is not simply an Outer Banks with the same Sasquatch package.
Engine and transmission
Ford Canada’s 2025 Bronco page archived November 22, 2025 lists a standard 2.3-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder for Outer Banks and an optional 2.7-litre EcoBoost V6. The published ratings are 300 hp and 325 lb-ft for the four-cylinder, or 330 hp and 415 lb-ft for the V6, based on premium fuel under SAE J1349. Outer Banks uses a ten-speed automatic.
The January Sasquatch reference has the 2.7-litre engine, priced separately from Sasquatch at $2,695. Do not assume that ordering the tire and axle package automatically adds the V6. Equally, the V6’s higher output does not turn this Bronco into the higher-towing Raptor specification.
What Sasquatch adds
The Canadian reference label lists advanced 4×4, front and rear electronic-locking differentials, a 4.70 axle ratio and 35-inch LT315/70R17 tires. The non-Sasquatch Outer Banks reference instead has 32-inch P255/70R18 tires and open front and rear differentials with a 3.73 axle ratio. Those are mechanical differences, not just a change in wheel colour.
Ford Canada’s off-road page archived March 17, 2025 associates Sasquatch with HOSS 2.0 and Bilstein position-sensitive dampers. Its May 2025 performance page also identifies high-clearance fender flares. These specifications describe the package; they are not a claim that our video measured suspension travel, trail performance or ride comfort.
Check the actual wheel option. The January label adds $1,350 for its particular black aluminum beadlock-capable alloy-ring wheel selection on top of Sasquatch. Treating every wheel shown in marketing as included in the package can produce a misleading price comparison. Budget replacement tires around the installed 35-inch specification, not the smaller non-Sasquatch setup.
Towing and payload
The 2025 Ford Canada Bronco towing guide lists a 3,500-lb maximum for the Outer Banks 2.7-litre automatic with the Sasquatch 4.70 axle. Larger tires and locking differentials do not increase that published limit. The guide requires the dealer-installed OEM towing equipment for trailers over 2,000 lb; the Trailer Tow Prep Package alone is not a fitted receiver.
The listed receiver limit is 3,500 lb with 350 lb of tongue load. Vehicle loading remains a separate constraint: passengers, cargo and trailer tongue weight have to fit the specific Bronco’s certification and loading labels. Confirm the receiver, wiring and trailer-brake arrangement before treating an advertised tow rating as a ready-to-tow configuration.
Fuel economy
The January Canadian Sasquatch label is rated at 13.8 L/100 km city, 12.7 highway and 13.3 combined. It aligns with the 2.7-litre Bronco 4WD with Sport Mode entry in NRCan’s 2025 data. The separately listed non-Sasquatch Outer Banks 2.7-litre is rated at 12.5 city, 11.4 highway and 12.0 combined.
At 20,000 km, those combined ratings represent 2,660 versus 2,400 litres: a 260-litre annual difference before choosing a fuel price. This is a comparison of certified configurations, not a controlled test proving that tires alone cause the entire difference. It is also not fuel consumption recorded in our video.
Interior, technology and safety
Outer Banks provides a different cabin proposition from a simpler trail-focused build. The Canadian reference records include power front seats, carpet flooring, dual-zone climate control and an auto-dimming mirror. Before paying for the trim, check that its upholstery and carpet suit how the vehicle will be used, especially if muddy equipment and outdoor trips are routine.
A 12-inch SYNC 4 touchscreen and 12-inch instrument display are part of the 2025 equipment discussion. The reference trucks also have rear parking sensors and pre-collision assistance with automatic emergency braking. The 360-degree camera and adaptive cruise control are explicitly part of the separately priced 314A High/Lux group on their labels, not benefits supplied by Sasquatch.
A hardtop is another separate choice. The January record charges $2,895 for its painted hardtop with sound-deadening headliner. Check the roof configuration, panel storage and seals on the actual vehicle; neither the Outer Banks badge nor Sasquatch establishes that a painted hardtop is included.
Pricing in CAD
These Canadian 2025 label figures were checked on October 28, 2026. They exclude destination, excise, other options and sales taxes. All are four-door 4×4 builds, but the Big Bend uses a different engine and the label dates differ. The rows identify those differences rather than presenting every gap as a pure trim premium.
| 2025 four-door configuration | Historical amount (CAD) | Label date | Included in this comparison amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| Big Bend 222A, 2.3L automatic | $55,060 | September 24, 2025 | $53,565 base + $1,495 automatic; Mid comfort equipment, without Sasquatch. |
| Outer Banks 314A, 2.7L, before Sasquatch | $66,885 | January 28, 2025 | $60,640 base + $3,550 High/Lux + $2,695 engine. Derived subtotal on the Sasquatch label. |
| Same Outer Banks + Sasquatch | $75,665 | Same January label | Adds $8,780 for Sasquatch; hardtop and selected wheel upgrade still extra. |
| Outer Banks 314A, 2.7L, without Sasquatch | $67,785 | July 17, 2025 | $61,290 base + $3,800 High/Lux + $2,695 engine; later pricing, 32-inch tires and open axles. |
The clean package increment is the January label’s $8,780, not the difference between two differently dated complete vehicles. After its hardtop, wheel upgrade, block heater, storage bags, $100 excise and $2,195 delivery, that reference totals $83,100 before taxes. This historical total is not a current selling price.
Competition and which Bronco makes sense
Choose Outer Banks Sasquatch for a combination of the cabin specification and the package’s specific off-road hardware, not because it sounds like the highest trim. If those lockers and 35-inch tires will rarely be useful, compare the non-Sasquatch Outer Banks before paying for them. The Jeep Wrangler is a relevant alternative, but compare doors, roof, drivetrain and actual equipment rather than badges alone.
