Big Horn safety features
Ram Canada’s Big Horn listing includes adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go and Level 1 Safety Group. It also identifies Active Lane Management, forward collision warning with braking, blind-spot detection and front and rear ParkSense sensors. These systems assist the driver; they do not establish autonomous operation. The range’s available hands-free assistance, automated parking and intersection systems should not automatically be attributed to a Big Horn Night Edition.
Engine specifications
The standard 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 with eTorque produces 305 hp and 269 lb-ft. The available standard-output 3.0-litre twin-turbo Hurricane inline-six produces 420 hp and 469 lb-ft. The 5.7-litre HEMI V8 is available again for 2026, rated at 395 hp and 410 lb-ft. These use eight-speed automatic transmissions. The 540-hp high-output Hurricane used by upper trims is a different engine specification.
Towing and payload
Ram’s Canadian capability page lists engine-group maximum towing of 8,110 lb for Pentastar, 11,220 lb for the standard-output Hurricane and 10,170 lb for HEMI. These are properly equipped maxima, not the rating for every Big Horn. Its configuration table and range headlines can describe different trucks. Obtain the exact cab, axle, drivetrain and equipment rating before matching a trailer.
The completed truck’s loading label is the starting point for payload. Occupants, cargo, accessories and trailer tongue weight all consume that allowance. Night Edition does not automatically increase it. A high towing headline should not be combined with a maximum payload from another engine or cab.
Night Edition styling
Night Edition supplies a darker exterior treatment with black grille details, badging and wheel accents. Package contents can change with cab, engine and equipment selections. Check the itemized window sticker for wheel and tire size, mirrors, exhaust finish and differential rather than assuming every black-accented Big Horn has identical equipment.

Ram Canada lists five seats for its current Big Horn base configuration, with cloth seating and a full floor console. Confirm the actual seat layout on the reviewed truck and any alternative build. Crew Cab and Quad Cab have different rear cabin dimensions, so their legroom and storage specifications should not be interchanged.
Box length, bedliner, lighting, tie-downs and storage accessories depend on the build. A pickup’s box dimensions are more useful for planning bulky loads than a generic cabin luggage-volume figure. Measure the usable length and wheel-well clearance for the cargo you intend to carry.

NRCan’s 2026 guide lists the standard-output 3.0-litre Ram 1500 4×4 at 13.2 L/100 km city, 9.9 highway and 11.7 combined. The 5.7-litre 4×4 eTorque is 14.7 city, 11.6 highway and 13.3 combined.
