How the articles are researched
Research starts with Canadian manufacturer specifications, brochures, configurators, and other original sources. Fuel-consumption figures are checked against Natural Resources Canada information when a matching model and powertrain are available. Manufacturer and official reference material is used to check the relevant model year and configuration. Questions about a specification can be sent through the corrections contact below.
Standard equipment is distinguished from optional packages, and model-year, trim, engine, and configuration differences matter. A maximum towing number does not apply to every vehicle in a lineup. Prices are in Canadian dollars, with the basis and exclusions identified where available; offers, freight, taxes, and dealer charges can change the final amount.
The written guides combine specification research with the context of the walkaround videos. Published specifications and manufacturer claims are identified as such. A listed figure is not an independently measured result, and the guides do not present road-test impressions.
Original footage and editorial approach
The vehicle walkarounds are original Automotive Car Reviews productions. Still photographs in the vehicle articles are selected from that footage unless identified otherwise. They show the particular vehicle filmed; they do not establish that every option visible is standard on the entire model range. The embedded video lets readers examine the cabin, controls and design in more detail.
A walkaround is a static inspection, not a measured road test. Published engine outputs, fuel-consumption figures and towing limits are specification research. The articles distinguish those figures from what the camera shows. When a matching rating or price cannot be established, that gap is explained rather than filled with a different market or model year.
Some research and drafting is AI-assisted. Original footage is created by Jason, and written claims still need to be checked against the relevant source material. Buying and ownership guides use explained calculations, examples and worksheets so readers can apply their own circumstances.
