What the 2022 Night Edition includes
The Canadian 2022 brochure describes black 22-inch wheels, dark exterior details, body-colour bumpers and handles, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon system and a tri-fold tonneau cover in the Limited Night Edition. Canadian 2022 Limited package description.
A Canadian dealer’s 2022 Limited listing also itemizes Night Edition separately from the base Limited order package. Canadian equipment example. The listing’s other options are specific to that truck; they should not all be attributed to Night Edition or to the vehicle in our video.
Limited equipment and separate options
The 2022 Canadian brochure lists four-corner air suspension and full-leather front bucket seats for Limited. A panoramic roof, multifunction tailgate, power steps and further equipment groups are listed separately. Limited standard and optional equipment.
Compared with Longhorn, Limited’s standard air suspension and blind-spot/trailer detection are functional reasons to pay more. Night Edition then changes the exterior, wheels and audio; it does not turn every separately listed Limited option into standard equipment. Canadian trim comparison, pages 30–35.
Powertrain checks
The Canadian 2022 Limited brochure lists 5.7-litre HEMI V8 configurations, including eTorque, and a 3.0-litre EcoDiesel option, all with an eight-speed automatic. Exact-year Canadian powertrain choices. The trim name alone therefore does not identify the filmed engine.
eTorque is a mild-hybrid system, not a plug-in powertrain. Its launch assistance does not change the published HEMI engine rating; identify the engine and eTorque equipment when comparing fuel consumption.
Towing, loading and fuel costs
Select towing information for the exact engine, axle ratio, cab and bed, then confirm the truck’s individual loading limits. The Canadian model-year brochure includes configuration tables and qualifications. A pickup-family maximum is not automatically the rating of a fully optioned Limited or Rebel.
The 2022 NRCan ratings distinguish engine, drivetrain and eTorque configurations. Use the matching entry rather than treating the trim or Night Edition badge as a single fuel-economy specification.
