2024 Cadillac LYRIQ Sport 3 600E4

The 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ Sport 3 600E4 combines the upper Sport equipment level with the dual-motor AWD powertrain. The trim and drivetrain are two separate parts of that description: Sport 3 identifies equipment, while this guide’s AWD figures must not be confused with the single-motor rear-wheel-drive version.

Our 2024 Sport 3 600E4 video is below. This Canadian comparison focuses on the AWD powertrain and the wheel, climate-control and comfort changes between Sport 2 and Sport 3.

Models available

The Canadian 2024 lineup includes Tech, Luxury and Sport versions, with numbered equipment levels in the latter two families. The drivetrain alternatives are rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive—not front-wheel drive. Sport styling by itself does not prove that a particular LYRIQ has AWD. Electric powertrain

For 2024, the dual-motor AWD system is rated at a GM-estimated 500 hp and 450 lb-ft, with a 102-kWh rated battery. The single-motor RWD version has different output and range. Canadian 2024 powertrain specifications.

The 600E4 designation should not be read as a 600-horsepower claim, and equipment or performance figures from a later model year should not be substituted here.

Range and efficiency

Natural Resources Canada’s 2024 guide lists the LYRIQ AWD with the 11.5-kW charger at 494 km of range and 23.6 kWh/100 km combined consumption. This standardized rating applies to the listed 11.5-kW charging configuration; actual range varies with conditions. NRCan 2024 fuel-consumption guide.

At 20,000 km, that combined rating represents approximately 4,720 kWh. Multiplying it by your electricity price gives a comparison estimate, not a guaranteed annual bill: winter use and public charging rates can change the result. Do not use gasoline litres per 100 km to describe this battery-electric vehicle’s actual energy use.

Charging

The Canadian Sport 3 catalog lists an 11.5-kW onboard charging module; a higher-capability AC configuration must be verified separately. The Canadian model overview lists DC acceptance up to 190 kW. Sport 3 charging equipment · Canadian charging overview.

Peak DC capability does not mean the car holds that rate throughout a charging stop. Battery temperature, starting charge and the station matter. At home, the onboard module, charging equipment and circuit each impose a limit. Have a qualified installer assess the setup, and confirm the vehicle’s actual module before paying for more charging capacity than it can use.

Sport 3 equipment and interior

The Canadian Sport 3 catalog lists 22-inch wheels, tri-zone climate control, heated rear outboard seats and ventilated front seats. The standard glass roof is fixed; a power panoramic sunroof is optional. Do not describe every Sport 3 as having an opening roof or an optional leather package. Canadian Sport 3 equipment.

Compared with Sport 2, the listed wheel and climate-control differences are 22-inch versus 20-inch wheels and tri-zone versus dual-zone climate. Canadian Sport 2 specification. Check the actual car because wheel substitutions and additional options can change a used example’s equipment.

Infotainment and connectivity

The Canadian catalog lists a 33-inch LED display with Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an AKG 19-speaker system. Smartphone-projection support here should not be assumed to match every other GM electric vehicle. Canadian infotainment specification.

Driver assistance

Super Cruise operation depends on the fitted equipment, compatible roads and an active plan; it still requires driver attention. Confirm the particular vehicle’s configuration and service status before relying on it. Canadian driver-assistance overview. Adaptive cruise or a camera view is not proof of a working hands-free-driving subscription.

Recall checks: Ask Cadillac to check the VIN and confirm all applicable software updates. Transport Canada recall 2024453 addresses an ABS software fault that can reduce or eliminate braking under certain conditions. Recall 2025293 concerns a blank instrument display and missing rear-camera image, while 2026059 also addresses loss of the rear-camera image on certain 2024 vehicles. The remedies update the affected modules, over the air for eligible vehicles or through a GM dealer. These notices are not proof that the filmed LYRIQ is affected or that its repairs are complete.

Both include $2,300 freight/PDI, $100 air-conditioning charge and $22.50 tire duty, but exclude sales tax, licensing and additional options or fees. They are historical catalog references rather than current offers or the filmed vehicle’s price.

Is Sport 3 the useful upgrade?

Compare the equipment you want with Sport 2 before paying for the higher level. Sport 3 can make sense if its particular comfort and presentation changes matter to you, but it is not a different AWD powertrain simply because it costs more. For a used purchase, condition, service history, installed options and actual asking price may outweigh the original trim gap.
