2025 Cadillac Escalade Premium Luxury

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade Premium Luxury sits between the entry Luxury trim and the more elaborate Platinum models. It combines the refreshed Escalade’s large-screen interior with additional comfort and chassis equipment, without automatically including every feature shown on a fully optioned example.

Our 2025 Premium Luxury video is below. This guide covers the Canadian standard-length Escalade, not the longer ESV or electric Escalade IQ. Optional equipment and seating configurations vary by vehicle.

Models available

For 2025, Cadillac lists Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, Sport Platinum and V-Series. Premium Luxury is not the same trim as Premium Luxury Platinum. The extra word matters when comparing seating, audio, doors and driver-assistance equipment. Cadillac Canada’s 2025 announcement.

Engine and transmission

The non-V Escalade uses a 6.2-litre V8 rated at 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. Premium Luxury pairs it with a 10-speed automatic and four-wheel drive in the Canadian catalog. The supercharged V-Series is a different powertrain; paying for a Platinum equipment package does not turn the standard V8 into the V-Series engine. Suspension and towing equipment

Magnetic Ride Control is standard on Premium Luxury, while Adaptive Air Ride is listed as optional. These are different systems: do not assume the presence of one proves the vehicle has the other. A test drive over roads you normally use is the best way to evaluate comfort with the installed wheels and suspension.

The Canadian Premium Luxury catalog also lists an integrated trailer brake controller, hitch guidance and an in-vehicle trailering app. Those features do not establish the loaded vehicle’s towing or payload allowance. Match the VIN, equipment and door labels to the towing documentation before adding passengers, luggage and trailer tongue weight. Canadian equipment availability.

Fuel economy

Natural Resources Canada lists the 2025 Escalade 4WD with the 6.2-litre V8 and 10-speed automatic at 16.6 L/100 km city, 13.0 highway and 15.0 combined. The Escalade-V has a separate rating and should not be substituted here. NRCan 2025 fuel-consumption data.

At 20,000 km annually, 15.0 L/100 km works out to approximately 3,000 litres. Multiply that amount by your expected fuel price to make a planning budget. This standardized calculation is a planning reference; towing, short journeys and winter use can change actual consumption.

Interior and practicality

Premium Luxury’s listed equipment includes leather seating, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row outboard seats and a power-folding third row. Second-row bucket seats are listed as standard, with a bench available. Check the actual layout if you need a specific passenger count rather than relying on the model’s maximum seating claim. Premium Luxury seating configurations.

Infotainment and connectivity

The 2025 refresh introduces a curved display arrangement measuring 55 inches in total diagonal, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Cadillac identifies 19-speaker AKG Studio audio as standard; the 36-speaker system is an upgrade. The screen measurement describes the complete display arrangement, not a single 55-inch central touchscreen. 2025 interior and technology changes.

Safety and driver assistance

Cadillac’s Canadian launch information lists Super Cruise capability across the 2025 range with a three-year trial. It requires compatible roads, an attentive driver and an active trial or subscription; it is not autonomous driving. Premium Luxury also receives a head-up display. Canadian driver-assistance information and limitations.

Night Vision is optional on Premium Luxury, rather than something to infer from a camera visible on the body. The Canadian catalog lists Augmented Reality separately. Verify Night Vision on the individual build sheet and in its operating menus before claiming it is installed. Separate Night Vision and Augmented Reality listings.

Pricing in CAD

Current Canadian manufacturer pricing for these exact 2025 configurations has not been verified as of October 31, 2026. Vehicle prices and price differences are therefore omitted; the chart compares equipment only.

Check Cadillac Canada’s official model and shopping page for manufacturer pricing. Match the exact model year, body, drivetrain and options; a later-year starting price is not a price for the 2025 vehicle reviewed here.

Competition and choosing a trim

Premium Luxury makes sense to investigate if you want more comfort equipment than Luxury but do not automatically need the Platinum package. First list the features you actually want, then compare an optioned Premium Luxury with Platinum. Expensive extras can narrow the gap, while features you will rarely use should not decide the purchase.

Sport is worth comparing if you prefer dark exterior details. For a broader shortlist, compare other full-size luxury SUVs using the same passenger and luggage requirements, rather than simply matching advertised starting prices. Ride comfort, visibility and ease of getting into the third row still need an in-person assessment.

Frequently asked questions

Is Premium Luxury the same as Premium Luxury Platinum?

Does Premium Luxury automatically include air suspension?

No. Magnetic Ride Control is standard, while Adaptive Air Ride is listed separately as an option.

Does a visible camera prove Night Vision is fitted?

No. Camera appearance alone does not establish that feature. Confirm the build sheet and the vehicle’s actual Night Vision controls.
