Today I review the 2023 Jeep Wrangler High Altitude 4xe. With the 4xe plug-in hybrid powertrain, the Wrangler offers satisfying power and a range of around 35kms when fully charged. Jeeps haven’t changed all that much over the years, but thanks to ongoing development, the Wrangler offers more conveniences and usability than ever. The Wrangler 4xe has the highest fuel economy for the Wrangler. It has a plug-in hybrid system and a four-cylinder turbocharged engine. Together, they generate 375 horsepower.
Recharging frequently might help you save a lot of money on gas. But after the battery is depleted, the 4xe on gas only achieves about 11.6L/100 km in the city & 11.9L/100 km on the highway. The hybrid fuel economy gets 4.5Le/100 km in the city & 5.2Le/100 km on the highway.
The Wranglers competition continues to bring on the heat. Other tough SUVs have recently joined the Wrangler and Toyota 4Runner. The Ford Bronco is Ford’s interpretation of what an off-roading SUV should be. The Land Rover Defender is loaded with cutting-edge off-road technology. The Wrangler is still a one-of-a-kind driving experience even with the increased competition.
What do you think of the High Altitude trim?
