The 2023 Lexus NX 350 is a reliable small luxury SUV with lots of standard driver-aid systems and a luxurious, high-quality cabin. While the NX does not lead its class in terms of cargo capacity, interior spaciousness, or overall performance, it performs well enough in each area to be a desirable option.
Given the widespread appeal of small luxury crossover SUVs, it’s amazing to think that Lexus only recently made its debut in this market. The first-generation Lexus NX made its debut in 2015 with competitive pricing and a striking, expressive appearance, but it was hindered by flaws like a cramped cargo room and a frustrating infotainment system that prevented it from standing out from the competition. Now, the Acura RDX and Volvo XC60 are just a couple of the many competitors the second-generation NX will face.
The NX 250, NX 350, NX 350h, and NX 450h+ are part of the updated lineup. The turbocharged NX 350, like its brothers, benefits from important improvements such as a roomier cabin and cargo area, a new infotainment system, and cutting-edge driver assistance technology. The 2023 Lexus NX 350 outperforms the previous NX significantly thanks to these upgrades and a markedly better driving style.
