Models and trims available

Honda offers LX 2WD, LX AWD, Sport, Sport Hybrid, TrailSport Hybrid, EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid. The LX and Sport use a turbocharged gasoline engine. The four Hybrid trims use a 2.0-litre engine and two-motor hybrid system, with all-wheel drive included.
Touring Hybrid adds equipment such as Bose audio, Google built-in, rain-sensing wipers and a hands-free power tailgate. EX-L Hybrid already provides leather-trimmed seats and rear-seat heating. Compare those specific additions when deciding whether Touring justifies its higher purchase price.
2027 Honda CR-V Touring Hybrid engine specs

The powertrain combines a 2.0-litre four-cylinder gasoline engine with two electric motors. Honda lists total system output at 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. An electronic continuously variable transmission and Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System are standard.
This is a conventional hybrid that replenishes its battery through the vehicle’s own system. It does not need a charging cable or a home charging station. The separately listed electric-motor output is not an additional amount to add to the published system horsepower.
Fuel economy and towing capacity
Honda’s estimated Canadian figures for Touring Hybrid are 6.0 L/100 km city, 6.9 highway and 6.4 combined. Regular gasoline is recommended, and tank capacity is 53 litres. These figures are intended for comparison; temperature, tires, load and use can change actual consumption.
The Touring Hybrid is rated to tow up to 453 kg, approximately 1,000 lb, with the required accessory towing package. Gasoline CR-V versions have a different rating, so their higher capacity should not be applied to the hybrid. Verify the hitch, wiring and loaded trailer against the owner’s manual.
Interior, seating and cargo space

The CR-V Touring Hybrid seats five across two rows. It has perforated leather-trimmed upholstery with orange accents, heated front seats and heated rear outboard seats. The heated steering wheel is also included. Honda does not list ventilated seats for this trim.
The driver gets eight-way power adjustment including two-way power lumbar support, while the front passenger has four-way power adjustment. Two memory positions store driver-seat and mirror settings. Dual-zone climate control and rear heater ducts support the cabin’s everyday practicality.
Cargo capacity is 1,028 litres with the rear seats upright and 2,030 litres with them folded. Those are the hybrid figures; the gasoline models have a different cargo specification. A 60/40 split rear seat allows luggage and passengers to share the space.

Touring includes a hands-free power tailgate and a one-touch tilt-and-slide moonroof. The moonroof is a conventional opening unit rather than a panoramic roof. Rear-seat legroom is listed at 1,042 mm, which gives buyers a useful measurement to compare alongside their own seating needs.
Infotainment and connectivity

A nine-inch centre touchscreen accompanies a 10.2-inch digital instrument display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support wired and wireless connections. Qi-compatible wireless charging and four USB-C ports, split between the front and rear, are included.
Touring upgrades the audio to a 12-speaker Bose premium system. It also includes Google built-in, Amazon Alexa Built-In and HD Radio. These additions distinguish its infotainment package from the lower trims rather than representing optional Touring packages.
Wi-Fi hotspot capability and HondaLink connected services are listed, but compatible devices, activation and subscription terms still matter. Check what data or service period is included in the purchase before relying on a connected feature for daily use.
Safety features and parking assistance
Standard Honda Sensing equipment includes adaptive cruise control, Collision Mitigation Braking System, lane-keeping assistance and road-departure mitigation. Blind Spot Information and Cross Traffic Monitor are also included. Traffic Sign Recognition and Traffic Jam Assist complete several of the headline assistance functions.
Touring adds Low-Speed Braking Control. Four front and four rear parking sensors help with close obstacles. Its multi-angle rearview camera has dynamic guidelines and a rear camera washer; Honda does not list a 360-degree surround-view camera for this trim.
The safety specification includes front airbags, front knee airbags, front side airbags, rear outboard side airbags and side curtains. Child-seat lower anchors are provided at the rear outboard positions, with top-tether anchors at all rear seating positions. Assistance systems support the driver and have operating limits.
2027 Honda CR-V Touring Hybrid pricing
Honda’s Canadian site displayed a Touring Hybrid selling price of $54,947 CAD, using its default Ontario pricing. That total includes $2,000 freight and PDI and other fees of up to $1,147. Applicable taxes are extra; it should not be labelled as a bare vehicle MSRP.
For comparison, the displayed selling prices were $40,728 for LX 2WD, $43,528 for LX AWD and $47,128 for Sport. Hybrid prices were $49,647 for Sport Hybrid, $51,047 for TrailSport Hybrid and $52,447 for EX-L Hybrid. Colours, accessories and a dealer’s final quote can change the total.
The Touring example is $2,500 above EX-L Hybrid. Consider whether its audio, connected technology and additional convenience features are worthwhile for your needs. Request quotes with the same paint, accessories and fee treatment so that the comparison remains fair.
Competition and purchase considerations
Other hybrid compact SUVs to compare include the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, Hyundai Tucson Hybrid and Kia Sportage Hybrid. Compare actual Canadian trim equipment, cargo measurements and complete selling prices. Similar model names can hide differences in standard all-wheel drive, audio systems and parking cameras.
The Touring Hybrid suits buyers who want the CR-V’s highest equipment level while retaining a hybrid powertrain. Buyers focused on purchase cost can compare Sport Hybrid or EX-L Hybrid, while TrailSport Hybrid provides a different equipment emphasis. Towing needs above the hybrid’s rating deserve attention before selecting a trim.
