2026 Honda Pilot Touring: Specs, Features & Pricing

An eight-passenger cabin and standard i-VTM4 AWD are central to the 2026 Honda Pilot Touring. The 3.5-litre V6 and ten-speed automatic support a familiar family-SUV formula, with Touring adding comfort, audio and camera equipment. The refreshed 2026 multimedia system is an important detail when comparing it with earlier examples.

Watch the Automotive Car Reviews walkaround below. The accompanying equipment and specifications were researched independently, with the refreshed 2026 multimedia system checked against Honda’s newer Canadian documentation.

Models available in Canada

Honda offers Sport, EX-L, TrailSport, Touring and Black Edition, all with AWD. Sport, EX-L, Touring and Black Edition accommodate eight; TrailSport has seven seats with second-row captain’s chairs. Touring’s removable middle seat can reduce its seating configuration to seven without requiring a different trim.

The same engine output is offered throughout the range. Compare trims by the equipment you need rather than assuming Touring brings a larger engine or higher advertised towing capacity.

The naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V6 produces 285 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and 262 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm. It uses a ten-speed automatic and Honda’s second-generation Intelligent Variable Torque Management AWD system. Regular gasoline is recommended.

This Canadian configuration is a gasoline model. It does not have a plug-in battery or an externally chargeable hybrid system. AWD is standard, so there is no Canadian Touring front-wheel-drive alternative to use as the specification reference.

Pilot Touring towing and fuel economy

Honda lists towing of up to 2,268 kg (5,000 lb) with the required accessory towing package. The package is a dealer-installed item at extra cost; the rating should not be presented as proof that the reviewed vehicle already has every necessary component.

Confirm the hitch, wiring, trailer brakes, loading limits and owner’s-manual instructions for the intended trailer. Trailer tongue weight shares the vehicle’s load allowance with passengers, luggage and accessories. An eight-person trip can have a very different payload budget from a tow-rating comparison.

Touring’s Canadian fuel-consumption rating is 12.7 L/100 km city, 9.4 highway and 11.2 combined. Sport and EX-L are listed at 11.0 combined, while TrailSport is 11.8. The trim-specific figure matters even though all use the same engine. Fuel tank capacity is 70 litres.

At 20,000 km per year, the official combined rating implies roughly 2,240 litres for budgeting. Multiply by your expected fuel price. It is a laboratory-based planning example, not measured consumption from our video.

2026 Pilot Touring interior and seating

Touring includes perforated leather-trimmed seating, heated and ventilated front seats, heated outboard second-row seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel and driver-seat/mirror memory. A ten-way power driver seat, four-way power passenger seat and tri-zone climate control are listed.

The second row has a removable centre seat with in-trunk storage, while the third row splits 60/40. That flexibility lets you choose a centre seat for an extra passenger or an open space between the outer second-row seats. Check child-seat installation and access with the arrangement you plan to use.

The 2026 refresh adds suede-style seat accents and diamond stitching to Touring. A panoramic moonroof, second-row sunshades, ambient lighting and a hands-free power tailgate add family convenience.

Cargo and exterior dimensions

Honda’s latest Canadian table lists Touring cargo volumes of 635 litres behind the third row, 1,702 behind the second and 3,175 behind the front. Its maximum measurement convention includes rear footwell space and moving front seats forward. Compare that convention before treating another manufacturer’s volume as directly equivalent.

Touring is 5,083 mm long with a 2,891-mm wheelbase and 185 mm of unloaded ground clearance. The TrailSport’s additional clearance and underbody hardware belong to that trim. Touring uses 20-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires, so do not assign it TrailSport’s all-terrain tires.

Pilot Touring infotainment and technology

The refreshed model has a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Google built-in and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Honda also lists a 10.2-inch digital driver display and a head-up display for Touring. These newer 2026 specifications replace the smaller screen descriptions commonly carried over from the previous model.

Touring includes 12-speaker Bose audio, wireless phone charging, USB charging for the rear rows and CabinTalk, which lets front occupants speak through the cabin speakers. A large display does not require every feature to use the same connection: confirm the phone, app and connected-service requirements.

HondaLink services, Google functions and Wi-Fi can have trial, data or subscription conditions. Check the terms on the purchased vehicle rather than assuming every connected feature is included permanently in its sticker price.

Safety features on the Canadian Touring

Honda Sensing includes Collision Mitigation Braking with pedestrian detection, Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Mitigation with lane departure warning, Lane Keeping Assist and adaptive cruise control with Low-Speed Follow. The newer specification sheet also lists Traffic Jam Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition.

Touring has Blind Spot Information with Lane Change Assist, Cross Traffic Monitor, Low-Speed Braking Control, front/rear parking sensors and a multi-view camera system. The 2026 refresh adds Post-Collision Braking. Camera views and automatic braking are separate features; neither should be described as autonomous operation.

The Canadian equipment list includes front, knee, side and three-row curtain airbags, plus child-seat anchors. Inspect the owner’s manual for the appropriate child-seat positions and system limitations.

2026 Pilot Touring Canadian pricing

As of October 31, 2026, an exact current Canadian price for the 2026 Pilot Touring has not been verified from Honda Canada’s trim page and Build & Price. No launch-release amount is quoted here. Compare the same province and payment basis, with delivery, fees, options and taxes itemized.

Sport, EX-L, TrailSport and Black Edition provide other equipment combinations to compare. Obtain a current itemized quote, particularly if adding the towing package or accessories.

Competition and buying considerations

Relevant three-row SUV alternatives include the Toyota Grand Highlander, Chevrolet Traverse, Hyundai Palisade, Kia Telluride and Subaru Ascent. Match seating configuration, cargo measurement method, towing equipment, fuel ratings and current price when making a shortlist.

Touring is worth comparing when you want its ventilated seats, Bose audio and camera equipment alongside the removable second-row middle seat. EX-L may be sufficient if those upgrades are less important. TrailSport offers a different hardware and seating configuration, while Black Edition primarily changes the upper-trim presentation.

Frequently asked questions

How does the Pilot Touring’s removable second-row seat work?

The 2026 Touring seats eight with its second-row centre seat installed. Removing that seat creates an open space between the outer seats; Honda provides in-trunk storage for the removed seat.

Does the Pilot Touring include everything needed to tow 5,000 lb?

The 5,000-lb maximum requires the accessory towing package. It is a dealer-installed item at extra cost, so confirm the hitch, wiring and required equipment on the actual vehicle.

Is the 2026 Pilot Touring a hybrid?

No. It uses a 3.5-litre gasoline V6 with 285 hp and 262 lb-ft, a ten-speed automatic and standard i-VTM4 all-wheel drive. Regular gasoline is recommended.
